Baked Potato Soup I

This soup was soo delicious! I did use more bacon that called for because bacon makes everything taste better! Next time I will cut up my potatoes a little smaller as I left them big. My husband and 2 year old loved it! Gives you that nice warm feeling inside. I will defiantly make this again and again

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

I really liked this recipe. Didn’t change anything in the recipe, although I did think about adding some nuts to the batter. I made 2 loafs and some small muffins. Will defiantly make again. Thank you.

Hot Buffalo Chicken, Bacon, and Cheese Sandwich

I totally loved this sandwich. I did drizzle a little of the sauce over the chicken to give it extra flavor and an extra mess factor. I also added 2 slices of bacon to each sandwich. I used boilio (?) rolls instead of the Italian loaf. These sandwiches are great and work awesome as football food. A definite make again! Thanks for sharing!

Insanely Amazing Jalapeno Cheese Dip

I really liked this recipe! I only used half a can of jalapenos because I was afraid of the spice. It was still spicy, but oh soo good! I may just used the green chilies next time to keep it mild. I did bake it in the bread bowl, I think next time I make bake it in a small dish and then put it in the bread bowl as the bread bowl was too hard to eat. I liked others ideas about using baguettes too. My husband loved it and will probably be asking for it during football season! Thanks for sharing!

Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

I was curious how these would taste and surprised that I really liked them. I used kidney beans but I think next time I will use black beans instead. They were sweet and I used a little less chili powder than it called for. I froze the leftovers for lunch during the week. I will definitely make them again!

Cornflake Bacon Cookies

Fierro Chicken

Really liked this recipe!! I only added a little of the chili powder because I didn’t want the sauce too spicy. Just enough for me. Husband loved it as well. I added mushrooms on his chicken and then poured the sauce on top. I also added some shredded Monterey jack cheese the last 15 minutes of cooking. I served it over rice with some of the sauce poured over it. This is defiantly become a usual at my house. Leftovers tasted great!

Chocolate Chip Cake Bars

I loved this recipe. So did my husband and little boy. I did not add the shortening to the final chocolate just melted it a little and drizzled it over the top. This would be a great recipe for a potluck or picnic. Also great with ice cream!

Zucchini Alfredo

I really liked the sauce to this. I did omit the basil because I am not fond of basil. I will use this sauce as my Alfredo from now on. Yum! I made breaded chicken breast strips and placed them on top for some meat. Thanks for sharing.

Mock Filets

I did not like this recipe. My husband said it was just ok. I do not think it tasted anything like a filet. It was like a little meatloaf. The recipe did give me an idea for making small meatloaves like this and wrapping them in bacon. I was just expecting more from this recipe.

Cantaloupe Bread with Praline Glaze

I really liked this recipe. I took it to my sister-in-law after she had her baby. They really enjoyed it. The bread kind of tasted like pumpkin bread but you could definitely taste the cantaloupe. I think the glaze on the top made the bread. Will make again for sure!

Chicken Florentine Casserole

I really liked this recipe and will definitely make it again! I was skeptical if my husband would because of the spinach but he went back for 3rds! I did use frozen spinach instead of canned. I also boiled the chicken first. Then I cut the chicken into cubes, mixed the chicken with the cream sauce and added it all together on top of the spinach. I did not add mushrooms to my side as I do not like them. My husband had a large helping of mushrooms on his and he loved it. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

Great recipe! I did not use the herbs because I did not have any fresh ones and was not sure how old my dried ones were. I believe the flavors from the sausage added to the mix perfectly. My little guy is a picky meat eater but loved the sausage. I am defiantly putting this into the rotation! Thanks for sharing!

Black Bean and Corn Quesadillas

This was delicious! Will make again. I did not put the red pepper flakes in because I have a little guy and did not want to make it too spicy for him. I added a little more cheese in my husbands. He loved it and said he would eat it again. I was a little surprised because he is a carnivore and I did not add any meat. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Brandy or Rum Balls

I din't care too much for these. I made the brandy ones because my mother-in-law loves brandy. They were strong little guys that could knock you out!! I did use 2 boxes of vanilla wafers when the reciepe called for 1.

Fry Bread Tacos II

I made these the other night and I was afraid what my husband might think. He had thirds. My nephew was also begging me to make them again this week. I think because I drizzled honey and sprinkled powered sugar over the leftover one. I had a hard time getting the balls of dough to turn out how I wanted them to at first so the first ones were small and puffy. I got the hang of it shortly. Yum!

Twice Baked Sweet Potatoes

I loved these!! I made them with my Christmas Eve dinner. I had a hard time putting the mixture back into the skin but I think that was because of the way I had cut them off. I did add a little cinnamon to the mixture. Loved it! Thanks for sharing!

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

I love this recipe so much more than the traditional one. I can't stand mushrooms. I have made this many times before. I recently made it for Thanksgiving and made sure to make a double batch fro leftovers. Yummy!
