Italian Bread Bowls

These bread bowls are great, I'll never do store-bought again! Easy to make, easy dough to work with, have turned out great EVERY time, and i've given the recipe away to many dinner guests! I add granulated garlic, or whatever other seasonings I like to the dough to give it more flavor.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Have made several times, and it's wonderful! I toss my apples with lots of cinnamon for more flavor. The first time I made it I mixed the sauce with the apples, and the second time I followed recipes and poured sauce over crust, which was really messy as it kept running over my pie dish while trying to seep through cracks in top crust. Both ways it tasted equally delicious!! I have doubled wrapped it in foil before baking and frozen for two weeks. Pulled it out and baked it low and slow. Was GREAT!

Lemon Cream Puffs

I have made this recipe several times for various special dinners/church functions and they are always the talk of the dessert today. I follow the recipe exactly, and it turns out just amazing. The Lemon filling is light with a fresh taste, and people can never eat just 1, or 2 or 3!!

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

This cheesecake is delicious, but I do make a few changes as others have mentioned to make it more like a cheesecake and less like a pie. I make it in a springform pan, and bake for 50min in a water bath, then turn off the oven and let it sit in the oven for another hour. Take out and wrap with foil, then refridgerate overnight. Turns out perfect with no cracks everytime! I also use 3 packages of cream cheese, and a 1/2 cup of sour cream. I mix the pumpkin into all the cheese mixture instead of doing layers. This got RAVE REVIEWS when I made it.

Crazy Crust Pizza Dough

Great pizza dough, I preferred it over my yeast recipe. It's suppose to be runny, so don't add the extra flour; It turns out great without it. I did add a tsp baking powder, and only 1 egg. Delicious!!

Chocolate Scotcheroos

My mom made these when we were kids, and now I make them for my kids! Great for any potluck event or family gathering. SO ADDICTING, you can't eat just one! The chocolate may not seem thick at first, but when it firms up, it's plenty.

Simple Whole Wheat Bread

I had never made homemade bread before trying this recipe, and i've now been making it for several months, and we still love it! Easy to make, freezes well after baking, taste great everytime. I make this recipe as it is, and only divide it into two loafs. Bake for closer to 30minutes, and you get a little bigger loaf.
