Spinach, Caramelized Onion, and Muenster Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: May 21, 2012
Soooooo good. It's very rich so it's not an everyday side dish. It was probably the best dish I made at Christmas. It also reheated very well. I'll be making this every holiday for sure.

Slow Cooker Nacho Chicken and Rice Wraps

Reviewed: May 21, 2012
This came out well for me. I took the advice of another reviewer and used the nacho cheese soup instead of cheddar. I also used my favorite salsa rather than the Pace sauce. I cooked everything on low for 7 hours and everything came out fine. A couple pieces of rice actually seemed undercooked. I'll definitely make this again. It was good alone or with tortillas.

Wonderful Banana Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2011
Wow! So good. I added a couple tablespoons of peach preserves to the batter so that it wouldn't be an overwhelming banana flavor.

Banana Muffins I

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2011
These were moist and delicious. I substituted whole wheat flour for the all-purpose, non-fat vanilla yogurt for the sour cream, and 3 tablespoons clover honey for the sugar. Delicious!

Blueberry Streusel Muffins

Reviewed: May 25, 2011
I followed the recipe to the T. The batter had the consistency of cookie dough. It was so hard to fold in the blueberries and many of them broke while I was doing that. So strange to me. They tasted good, just hard to work with the batter and would prefer a lighter muffin that would come with a thinner batter.

Powdered Sugar Cookies I

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
These were fantastic! Soft inside and crispy outside. I rolled a few in cinnamon and sugar to make snickerdoodles. This will definitely be my new sugar/snickerdoodle recipe.

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2011
All I could taste in the sauce was vinegar. The asparagus turned out fantastic. I'll probably bake them again with olive oil and salt and pepper when I don't feel like steamed. The sauce just seemed bland and unnecessary.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2010
AMAZING!!! I've been trying to recreate bakery type chocolate chip cookies that are crispy on the edges and soft and gooey in the center forever. Finally this recipe helped me achieve it! I didn't do anything different than the recipe called except put the dough in the fridge a couple times between batches only because the dough would get melty sitting out for so long. Awesome!!

Easy Bacon and Cheese Quiche

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
Fantastic!! I needed a frozen pie shell for one pie I made for the holiday, but the store only sold shells in pairs. I came to this site to find some recipes calling for a frozen pie shell, other than pie, and luckily found this one. Not only could I use the leftover pie crust, but I substituted the bacon for leftover ham. This will definitely be my go-to recipe after the holidays when I'm up to my ears in leftovers. I also added spinach and used cheddar instead. I feel like it was missing something, so will add some chilis or peppers to it next time since it was absolutely delicious when I covered a slice in salsa verde. Thanks for the recipe! I'm so happy I found it.

Snickerdoodles III

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2010
They ended up a little crispier than I hoped. I also had to flatten them to make bake up cookie shaped rather than ball shaped. Still, delicious.

Chocolate Ganache

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2010
So good. Used it as frosting on a mocha bundt cake for my dad's birthday. He said it tasted like cupcakes he's had from Sprinkles.

Mocha Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2010
I made this for my dad's birthday with a chocolate ganache frosting. He said that it tasted like the Mocha cupcake from Sprinkles. I used the bold coffee from Starbucks since many reviewers said they didn't taste the coffee flavor. Starbucks is strong and I wanted to get that flavor - mission accomplished. I didn't have rum extract, so I used rum... and I threw in about a tbsp Kahlua since I saw the bottle in the fridge. Soooo yummy.

Kicked Up Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: May 18, 2010
It was very good. I wasn't a fan of the chili powder topping. It tasted like I was eating spoonfuls of the spice. A little too overboard. The cheese sauce was kicked up enough. If I make it again, I won't put that on there.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: May 3, 2010
WOW!!! Crunchy topping and moist and soft inside. The banana taste wasn't too overwhelming like banana bread can be. Surprisingly, one of the best things I've baked lately. I plan to make these regularly.

Frank's® Red Hot® Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: May 3, 2010
Yummy!!! I made this exactly to the recipe and felt it came out more like a chicken salad than dip. Still delicious. The next time, I used half the recommended chicken and a handful more cheese. It came out more creamy and dip like. Either way, fantastic!! I used light cream cheese and dressing so the ladies felt better about devouring it.

Touchdown Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2009
I have made this chili numerous times. Each time I have omitted the vinegar. I made it with a wheat beer, a light rice beer, and without beer. It is best with light rice beer or no beer. This chili is delicious and everyone who has tried it loves it. It's hard to find a chili recipe without beans. This one is fantastic!!!
