Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
My boyfriend and I love this recipe. I Have to triple the sauce for 4 pork chops, so make accordingly. I followed everything, but half was through I drained the liquid, flipped, rebated, and continued cooking. Once they were almost done I basted one last time and set to broil for a few minutes until they had a bubbly dark-from-the-liquid top.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
This is excellent. PLEASE use QUALITY BBQ sauce for this, not that cheap kraft stuff. The cheap stuff thins into water and is just nasty. If you want a good meal you will have to fork out a few extra bucks, but worth it all the less. Any cut of meat will do as well. I have also tried this with beef, added mushrooms and peppers- All excellent.

Pizza Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2010
This was fantastic! I had my doubts, and I am glad I went for it. The only change I made was to add mushrooms, add a bit less sauce, and more noodles. I left out the garlic because I bought garlic pizza sauce by mistake. The basic recipe is the exact same of course. This is like a homemade pizza, but better! My sister LOVES pizza, and hates crust. This was a dream come true for her, not to mention there was squabbling over the leftovers.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2010
The most perfect Banana Bread in existence. I have added all kinds of goodies-nuts, raisins and cinnamon, etc, and have never failed. I have started adding vanilla, as per my own taste, and I love it. I like to make these into muffins as well, and add some Peanut Butter frosting to the tops.. very good! This is a VERY dense bread, and very moist. I have given loafs as birthday presents, by request!

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2010
Loved these! DON'T use a vanilla pudding mix as one review suggested without cutting out the vanilla or unless you sure like your cookies sweet. My mom went nuts for them, so I will defiantly make again. I left out the shortening, and used butter instead.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2011
Love this recipie on a weekday night. I add more spices to it for my preferance and thicken up the gravy it makes with a little flour or cornstarch as well. Great recipie if you are just starting out too I would think!

Quick Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2011
Very easy and very good! I chose to bread my chiken with Panko breading but you don't have too. This is wonderful for a weeknight or if you have not planned ahead. I use whatever sauce/cheese I have on hand.

Swanson® Roasted Tomato and Barley Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2011
This soup is fantastic!!! Just make sure to not over due the barley. I have zero broth because I dumped to much in! Reguardless it is amazing! I added green peppers and Italian seasoning for personal taste.

Roasted New Red Potatoes

There are excellent. Use Kosher salt as it is more like salt you would find aon a pretzel! YOU DO NOT need all that oil! I simply brush mine and add the salt. Turn half way for optimal crispness.

These happen to be the most amazing muffins ever. I use a Strawberry Banana yogurt and it is to die for! I have also used olive oil with success and will try milk and update the review soon.

Onion Cheese Biscuits

These were really good! I will add something to the dough, like garlic or onion powder, to boost the flavor next time, but as written they are still delicious!

Apple Strudel Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2010
These are to die for! I made two bacthes- On as stated, and one as per reviews. The Review batch is DEFIANTLY the winner! something about the spices added in makes it. I made the following changes : Half and Half for Brown and White sugar, TWO teaspoons vanilla, a teaspoon of cinnamon, a half of a teaspoon of nutmeg, doubled the apples, and grated one whole apple instead of chopping them all. I am giving 5 stars because without this base recipe I would have never found this complete recipe!

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
Fantastic! I did all as above but used marble cheese instead of the Jack cheese. Placed chicken in fridge after breading and used the George Foreman grill (why add the added fat of oil?) as suggested, and came out far beyond delicious! Boyfriend & mother in law approved :)!

Peanut Butter Balls II

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2011
I love this recipe!!! I did not change a thing. These can be frozen in ball shapes in a container weeks before you have to coat them in chocolate, so they are good to pre-make incase you are short on time or like to have something quick on hand for the last minute I freeze the balls first with toothpicks in them so that I can dip and roll them in chocolate. I use a teaspoon to pour chocolate over them to assure they are gully coated and then refrigerate. Because they peanut butter mix is so cold the chocolate hardens straight away too. Once fully set I just toss them in a container and they might last a day or two!

Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2011
This is a very sweet and good cookie. I added some white choco chips along with the semi sweet standard into the mix to change it up a little. I baked these in a cake pan and all 3 came out perfect! I iced the top and the kids went nuts with different toppings until they had their own creations. We cut them with a pizza slicer when they wanted a piece because they are so big!!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2011
Love it. Omitted cherries as they are not a family favorite. I also added cookie dough bits to the middle, and made it all flat layers instead of the balls on top. Great and easy to make with kids!
