Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
Fantastic! I did all as above but used marble cheese instead of the Jack cheese. Placed chicken in fridge after breading and used the George Foreman grill (why add the added fat of oil?) as suggested, and came out far beyond delicious! Boyfriend & mother in law approved :)!

Onion Cheese Biscuits

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2010
These were really good! I will add something to the dough, like garlic or onion powder, to boost the flavor next time, but as written they are still delicious!

Sweet and Sour Sauce I

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2010
Made this as directed, however cut down the soy sauce by half, and I was sure glad I did! It can be a bit of an overwhelming flavor. I tried all white sugar and half and half with brown-Half and half is defiantly they way to go. Read the review that mentions the quick cook method! SO much quicker. Served with home made pork balls and chow mien.

Apple Strudel Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2010
These are to die for! I made two bacthes- On as stated, and one as per reviews. The Review batch is DEFIANTLY the winner! something about the spices added in makes it. I made the following changes : Half and Half for Brown and White sugar, TWO teaspoons vanilla, a teaspoon of cinnamon, a half of a teaspoon of nutmeg, doubled the apples, and grated one whole apple instead of chopping them all. I am giving 5 stars because without this base recipe I would have never found this complete recipe!

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2010
The most perfect Banana Bread in existence. I have added all kinds of goodies-nuts, raisins and cinnamon, etc, and have never failed. I have started adding vanilla, as per my own taste, and I love it. I like to make these into muffins as well, and add some Peanut Butter frosting to the tops.. very good! This is a VERY dense bread, and very moist. I have given loafs as birthday presents, by request!

All-Day Apple Butter

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2010
This was just okay. I find it to be a more Jam consistancy as well. I halved it, and it took much longer to cook than expected. PLEASE reduce the sugar! You will regret it if you do not... I love sweet things, but thsi is really borderline. It will make a wonderfull ice cream topping, and also goes well on english muffins! I don't think this will be something I cook to often, but could come in handy at some point.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2010
Loved these! DON'T use a vanilla pudding mix as one review suggested without cutting out the vanilla or unless you sure like your cookies sweet. My mom went nuts for them, so I will defiantly make again. I left out the shortening, and used butter instead.

Pizza Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2010
This was fantastic! I had my doubts, and I am glad I went for it. The only change I made was to add mushrooms, add a bit less sauce, and more noodles. I left out the garlic because I bought garlic pizza sauce by mistake. The basic recipe is the exact same of course. This is like a homemade pizza, but better! My sister LOVES pizza, and hates crust. This was a dream come true for her, not to mention there was squabbling over the leftovers.

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
My boyfriend and I love this recipe. I Have to triple the sauce for 4 pork chops, so make accordingly. I followed everything, but half was through I drained the liquid, flipped, rebated, and continued cooking. Once they were almost done I basted one last time and set to broil for a few minutes until they had a bubbly dark-from-the-liquid top.

Simple Baked Apples

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
This was okay! I followed it to the letter, but used 2% milk as that is what we had. Next time I make this I will make some sort of topping with oats or something. Bit too sweet for my likeing, but the BF goggled it up!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
This is excellent. PLEASE use QUALITY BBQ sauce for this, not that cheap kraft stuff. The cheap stuff thins into water and is just nasty. If you want a good meal you will have to fork out a few extra bucks, but worth it all the less. Any cut of meat will do as well. I have also tried this with beef, added mushrooms and peppers- All excellent.

Very excellent potato salad. I wouldn't make this every time I make potato salad, but very good for special occasions.

Roasted New Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
There are excellent. Use Kosher salt as it is more like salt you would find aon a pretzel! YOU DO NOT need all that oil! I simply brush mine and add the salt. Turn half way for optimal crispness.

These had too much salt for me. Too much work for what I could do quicker too. I will pass on these, but thanks!

Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2010
This was good! Too much butter and garlic called for however, so I will use half next time. I am a garlic fiend, so the garlic side was more on the amount I wasted. I used this with the oven method as I have a very sensitive smoke alarm and didn't want to chance it. I served it with crescent rolls and fried rice. BF gives it a 5, I give it a 4 as I wasn't all over crazy about it, but I would make it again for him.

These happen to be the most amazing muffins ever. I use a Strawberry Banana yogurt and it is to die for! I have also used olive oil with success and will try milk and update the review soon.

These were good, but super mega flat! I am going to freeze the other half of the batch and try to find a way to puff them up. Perhaps some oatmeal!

Turkey Noodle Soup

Thsi was good. I added packaged gravy as I had none left from a tuckey, and added rosemary for personal taste. I also used dry egg noodles as I was worried about cooking time!
