About this Cook
I live in New Brunswick with my boyfriend of 2 years, who is also my best friend of about 15 years. I am a 5th year University student working part time, and he is off in the career world making it big. Since it is only him & I for now, we try and find recipes that don't make a weeks worth of leftovers, or ones he can make without burning the house down! I love making sweets and kid friendly food for the little love of my life, My Nephew Gabriel! he is always the most honest about what I give him ;).
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook in the Crockpot, or make desserts of all kinds! I love making hams, roasts, and any sort of pasta, as I live with a carb freak! Nothing better than finding the most amazing recipe for something you love.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom always makes comfort food for myself, My sister,Nephew, Brother and boyfriend several times a week. I love those dinners, especially when I get to jump in and help in the big ones!
My cooking triumphs
I made an amazing turkey dinner for all of my favorite moms last Mother's day. I went all out, and boy was it worth it! I also make the most amazing banana bread in the world, and love it when people actually ask me to make it as a gift or for their function!
My cooking tragedies
I made biscuits once. NEVER again!

Pumpkin Pie Bread
Pretty good. It makes a lot.I dislike cloves and found the flavour of them overwhelming, so next time they will be left out. I used apple sauce too, and it was wonderfully moist!

It's Chili by George!!
LOVED it! I doubled the spices and it was extra spicy. I added sour cream and it was wonderful!
