Easy Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2014
This is a good recipe however I felt it needed a little more seasoning so I added tarragon, thyme and garlic powder. Also I didn't have baby carrots so I used frozen mixed vegetables. I added a little half and half before I dropped the dumplings in because we like it creamy. I think next time I will add rosemary to the dumplings as someone suggested then it should be perfect. Thanks for the recipe.

We liked it but we believe it would be better with carrots and potatoes added.

Creamy Beef Mushroom Barley Soup in a Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2012
This rating is with my modifications. Thanks to those who rated before, I didn't make the same mistakes. I used twice the amount of broth and only 3\4 cup of barley. I also added more spices, about 1\4 tsp tarragon leaves, 2 tsp garlic salt and a sprinkle of Mrs. Dash. It was a good idea for a recipe just needed a little help.

Raspberry Almond Coffeecake

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2012
I love this recipe. My husband doesn't like icky sweet stuff and this was just perfect. I forgot the almonds and I only had frozen berries. I drained them and they worked just fine. I only baked it for 30 min. and it was done but nice and moist. We will use this recipe often. Thank you

Easy Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
I agree it needs a much longer cook time. Either that or par boil the potatoes. Par boiling would be preferable to make the finished product nicer. Also needs salt, I added 2 tsp kosher salt and it still needed a little. Other than that it was easy and would be delicious. Thanks
