Chef John's Perfect Prime Rib

Hands down, the best way to cook a prime rib. I too was real nervous the first time, but the moment you slice into perfect prime rib, you will be sold! I have an older oven, and understand what Chef John is trying to tell us. Having said that, I have been cooking long enough with that particular oven, that I am confident in where to set the dial. What I also do is to throw the self-cleaning lock lever. I find that not only reminds me not to peek, but also keeps a tight seal on the door! Thanks again, Chef John, for another amazing recipe and technique!

Slow Cooker Beef Pot Roast

Spectacular! Chef John is superb! Don't change anything in this recipe when you make it. This is my new pot roast recipe. Oh, an watch the video. It will make you into a gourmet chef! Cheers.

Honey's Favorite Honey Walnut Shrimp

LOVE this one! Honey loves it too! Just as good as PA**DA EX***SS! My only change: after battering the shrimp, roll in Panko crumbs, then deep fry. They stay crispy after tossing in the sauce! OK, too many exclamation points. But this one is a favorite.

Bacon and Tomato Cups

I put the bacon, onion, cheese, and basil into the mixer bowl. Turned to stir speed, then poured in Marie's Buttermilk Ranch dressing just until the ingredients pulled together. I served with fresh cantalope chunks and brunch was a hit!

Movie Star Popcorn

Perfect blend of butter and salt, I make every weekend and put on a netflix, set a big bowl of movie star popcorn on the coffee table with a stack of soup bowls... and never have to dump out leftover popcorn! the whole gang loves it
