Hello! My husband and I are in the Army and proud parents of 7 kids. They are lots of fun and not chaotic as people tend to think. Having a large family and myself being diabetic and allergic to MSG I tend to be a frugal grocery shopper. My usual bill per month averages just under $400.00.
My favorite things to cook
I actually like baking cookies and cakes (I really don't like sweets). Also, I love skimming on this site to see what I can make that is new for the family. Don't want to bore the family with the same old recipes over and over again.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Sunday dinners are very important. That is a day that nobody works, goes to school or anything. The rest of the week for our family is super busy.

My first wedding cake I made for a couple. It was nerve wrecking but I succeeded!
