Cajun Potato Soup

I love this recipe, it is great to taste easy to make, I can easily serve with a clear conscience as i love food and i lover fat. I always put double cream in all my cream soups. sometimes I substitute cabbage for spinach. or bacon for sausage I always fry my meats prior to adding to the soups , I then brown my white flour in a frying pan mix it with some of the liquids pour it in the soup to thicken it up , this makes the soup really thick. YUM YUM thank you for the great recipe.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Excellent recipe, It is very hard for me to find or be able to replicate good old fashion US recipe's living in England as even the milk can taste different and Mrs Buttersworth isn't to be found. But this recipe is the closes I have found to the pancake houses. It will become a family favourite at least for the Americans in the family. Only substitute was I add a splash of vanilla, doubled the recipe , 4T of baking powder, 1 stick of butter, 3 eggs, and last but least Blueberry's. You wont be sorry give it a go.

Raisin Bran Chewies Cookies

Yummy substituted 1/2 margarine , 1/2c butter I made these cookies with the basic dry recipe but added or substituted these only as I didn't have everything I used the dry ingredients added 1/4 t nutmeg, 1/2t cinnamon. 2 T of roasted maple pecan syrup Added 3.5 C of Oats & raisins & more cereal. Plus 1/2 cup white chocolate chips. Wish I had a berry cereal to try as that sounds lovely with the white chocolate chips. I did add my cereal to the mixer and just mixed everything to cut down the size of the flakes. Turned out great! They were wonderful

Kati Rose's Cheese Ball

hi ya here is how i made my cheese ball , but for the shrimp lovers,2 8 oz of cream cheese, 2 cups of cheese i use cheddar and colby's, 1/2 t garlic powder, 1/2 t onion salt, 3t worcestershire sauce 3 cans of mini shrimp drained, 3-4 sliced spring onions i use even the greens . i blend in blender or my mixer . i form into ball and always have a side of coctail sauce next to it , as it taste great spread over the prawn cheese ball crackers:) This is for the shrimp lovers

Breakfast The Night Before

Hi everyone I have made this for years, however i do it slightly different, instead ofmushroom soup i add thick cream , i also put sausage , bacon, mushroom, onions, green & red pepers if you want a meixcan style add some salsa:) this is a great base recipe for just about any leftovers in the fridge, i have even added left over chicken, brocoli, cheese . sometimes i will top it with diced fried potatoes at well. You can literally dump in to your hearts content:) it does best if refridge the night before , but i have made it the same day as well:) great for kids to grab quick before school, nice warm or cold .

Extreme Chocolate Cake

Join the gym if you make this cake as you cant stop eating it, as i normally dont like chocolate cake as i find them too dry, Made a 16'' cake & it lasted 2 days. followed the recipe to the T. I filled mine with eclair cream. I didnt make the frosting as I still havent found a frosting i like unless it is cream cheese , most are too sweet. Anyone have a good recipe for frosting pass it on please:) But you will never be disappointed on this chocolate cake unless your on a diet:) I am now after eating the entire cake:) YUM YUM YUM.
