not a stickler for following the directions, love to tweak the recipe which has lead to some of my greatest dinners and worst garbage i don't mind cooking, love baking and canning, not a fan of coming up with the "what's for dinner?" part of it. got to be easy, simple, and cheap. no one likes the same thing so it needs to be flexible. other than that i'm easy to please. canning with my grandmother. the whole family in the kitchen because everyone gets to help. crock pot "anything meat", maggie pickles, fruit leather, brownies with cocoa cream cheese frosting, stuffed peppers, some recipe that had hamburger and a dry soup starter with rice, noodles and dried veggies. playing with the flavorings in from scratch cake. my perfect every time fudge that one day just turned to gravel.
