Cinnamon Griddle Cakes

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2011
WOW! These definitely reminded me of eating a cinnabon! :) I am one who likes to make recipes exactly as written for my first try, then play with them on later tries. :) I made this as written today, and they are wonderful! My son agrees with me too! hehe! I also do not like to use corn syrup in recipes unless completely necessary, so next time I might play to make these a bit more healthy, since we eat them as if they are going to run away if we dont! hehe! But all in all, A DEFINITE KEEPER!! Thank you for sharing! :)

Cheesy Zucchini Bake

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2009
I followed this recipe, except for 2 changes: I omitted Olives, cause I am not a fan, and I used spaghetti sauce as another reviewer had suggested, in place of the puree and paste! It was awesome! I will be making this again and again! Thank you for the recipe! :) :)

Strawberry Brownies

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2010
I thought these were pretty good, but for me, (and maybe I didn't use enough strawberries, but I thought I did!) I could barely taste the strawberries through the chocolate. They tasted like chocolate brownies with a very slight hint of strawberry. The brownie was moist and soft though. I did also use all purpose flour instead of cake flour, as I had none..I just added a little baking powder, as well I pureed all the strawberries as other reviewers suggested! :) I will make again, but possibly use more strawberries next time, again, that could have been easily been an error on my part. :) Thanks for sharing! :)

Uncle Jesse's French Toast

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2011
Now I know why I always love the french toast in restaurants, but cant seem to make it quite the same at home! lol! This is definitely restaurant quality, and I loved it!! :) The only thing I did differently, is I didn't add Ginger, as one, I had none, and two, I am not really a fan of it anyways...other than that, FANTABULOUS!! Can't wait to show off to my friends now! haha!! Thanks for sharing! :)

No Bake Cheesecake I

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2011
I made this recipe today with my 2.5yr old. Really easy, and great recipe..though I did take the advice of other reviewers and used 16oz of Cream Cheese, only half a teaspoon of lemon juice(though I think I should have used maybe a full teaspoon) and 1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract. :) Added strawberry topping, and yummo!! :D Thanks for sharing!

Strawberry Cream Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
Just made this pie for Thanksgiving, in addition to the Pumpkin Pie! Everyone LOVED IT!! :D I got asked for the recipe numerous times! :) Definitely need to change the serving size to 6 or as I did, to 9! :D Was fabulous, and I will keep and make again! I love recipes that are made from scratch without main ingredients coming from a box! (minus the crust on this, since I did use Oreos)! Thanks for sharing!!! :D :D

Creamy Banana Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2011
Ok, I am usually not a banana bread person, but I had some over ripe bananas, and wanted to makes something nice with them. I made this recipes as called except that I put probably 2 cups and a tad more of banana(4 bananas) as well as I added one teaspoon of cinnamon to the batter and used only one to the filling..and NO NUTS, as I do not like them..so instead added some chocolate chips. :) Just a touch! IT IS FABULOUS!! :) Thank you for sharing!! I love it! :) My son who is 3yrs old, had eaten his first piece like it will run from him..so I think he agrees with me!:) Thanks again!

Chilled Strawberry Cream

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2011
I really enjoyed this and so did my hubby! :) I used fresh strawberries, and cut them up small, and used a bit more cream since the fresh strawberries have more juice. :) It was really a nice summer treat! :)

I made these muffins just now, and didn't have quite enough blueberries..only about 1cup..still tried them anyways..and they are wonderful! Def be a bit better with the whole amount of blueberries, as well I used Oragne extract(1 tablespoon) in place of the orange peel(didnt have any) and used 2cups all-pupose flour and 1 cup whole wheat flour! These are absolutely wonderful!! Enjoying one with my 2.5yr old right now!! :) thanks for sharing!! Cant wait for my hubby to try them, he will love em, I know it!! :)

Quick and Almost-Professional Buttercream Icing

Love this recipe!! Especially with added coco to make it chocolate frosting! I put this on the 'Best Chocolate Cake You Have Ever Eaten' recipe from this site, and brought it to work for a birthday party, and it was gone, with the icing scrapped from the pan! lol! :)
