Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2011
I have been making this soup for years. I use a jar or two of corn and bean salsa instead of the cans of each. You can eliminate three cans right there. :) For more flavor I also add a packet of taco seasoning. Awesome with tortilla or corn chips, a little sour cream and of course cheese!

Perfect! My husband is raving about it. I skipped the herbs because my family is not used to the flavoring. Thanks for sharing.

Yummmmmmmyyyyy! These did not last long. I did not have buttermilk, so I used 1/2 cup of vanilla yogurt. The taste and texture was perfect! Thank you for sharing.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2008
All I can say is yummmmmmy!!! The family gobbled this up and there are no leftovers. I will have to double the batch next time. I added carrots and celery and used chicken broth and water. This will my only chicken and dumplings recipe from now on. Thanks for sharing.

Green Chili Burritos

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2007
All I can say is WOW! I made this tonight for dinner and it was a hit with the adults. My kids are very picky so I was not surprised. The only thing I would change is to add more cumin and perhaps use a hotter version of the canned green chilis and tomatoes. We ate them like soft tacos with cheese and sour cream. I also think this would be great on rice. Thanks again, this one is a keeper.

Cheesy Chicken and Rice Casserole

Reviewed: May 23, 2002
Wow, what an easy recipe. It was very tasty. I did not have any chicken on hand so I used a can of tuna. I accidentally mixed the cheese into rice and soup instead of on top and it turned out great. I did have add a little milk because it was so thick.

Delightful Apple Spice Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2002
Wow, this recipe was so easy and my 3 year old loved it. I lowered the butter by half and added a touch more applsauce. I didn't have allspice on hand, so I used cinnimon and ground cloves. I also used cinnamon applsauce. Very tasty and healty treat.

Vegetable Beef Soup II

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2002
My family loves this recipe. My husband cannot get enough. I make it once sometimes twice a week in the winter. I use frozen bagged veggies (except onion and stewed tomatoes). VERY economical and easy. Thank you so much!
