Buffalo Chicken Dip

This is a good concept but an INCREDIBLE dish if you substitute a finely chopped whole rotissorie chicken use only 1 package of 8 oz cream cheese and 1/2 C ranch and 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing.

Enchilada Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2012
I've adored this recipe many times and do use an emulsion blender to smooth it out. It makes so much I could put the leftovers in a squirt bottle and use on other dishes or tortilla chips as a snack. I don't like to read reviews giving accolades to a recipe that they have tweaked, but a couple of times I did not have ingrediants on hand and this recipe is very forgiving. I've used a pinch of Italian herb seasoning or 5-Spice mix when out of oregano, a few splashes of beer when not enough chicken stock on hand, a dash or two of Shirracha sauce if chili powder is not spicey, etc. But the old tried and true comeback to recipe is this one. Kudos to you.

Seafood Enchiladas

My favorite Mexican restuarant in Hilton HeadI made a Chimi del Mar and I've missed it so. This is like it except they added some rice and a little of the sauce in the filling mixture. Thanks for this recipe, it's the bomb!

Southern Pimento Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2012
Hey Queenreyney, this is true southern 'minner cheese!" I'm lazy so I grate and blend in the food processor. It's fabulous with a hot bowl of chili in the winter and grilled with the fried green tomatoe in the sandwich. Awesome!

Fruity Curry Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2012
I RARELY rate a recipe but this is the BOMB. Such a great combination of tastes and textures. I made it exactly as directed but had a rotissiere chicken which made it so quick and easy. I've made it with a good quality canned chicken (2 cans) and it was still delicious. Thanks for the delightful recipe.

Savory Apricot Chicken with Vegetable Rice

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2012
This is great as it is. Here are my custom suggestions: Add green onions and garlic to the oil after chicken is seared WELL. I added a bit of hot sauce for a kick, dry ginger and a couple dashes of vinegar for acidity as well as a little less preserves for those who thought it was too sweet. Topped with a few slivered almonds for texture followed by lemon and orange zest; WOW this sent it over the edge. Thanks Smuckers for this great idea and allowing me to personalize and make it my own.

Roasted Rack of Lamb

Fantastic! I, also accompanied it with the "Greek Style Potatoes" and asparagus. I didn't change a thing in either recipes. I don't understand people who rate a recipe as great and have made major changes in the ingredients. Thank you for a wonderful dish!

Southern Boiled Custard

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2009
I am a 5th generation Southern woman from Mississippi and this recipe is right on it! Yes, this is a beverage of the same consistency as eggnog. Pay attention, they even sell this next to the eggnog in the beverage section. My recipe is over 150 years old and almost identical, except we add a little "cheer" to ours (burbon).
