This was my first time eating tuna casserole, let alone making it. I didn't know what to expect -- onion? Cream of mushroom soup? Cheddar cheese? All mixed together with canned tuna? It all sounded less-than-appealing to me. But boy, was I wrong. This has an undeniable hearty, homey, comfort food charm to it. I halved the ingredients because I didn't have many mouths to feed, but I did heed the advice of other reviewers and added an extra can of soup and half a can of tuna. I also used a medley of frozen peas, carrots, and corn instead of green peas. Yum!
