Ham 'N' Cheese Quiche

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2010
I cut the milk in half and use one deep dish pie shell for a thick quiche. Rather than freeze the baked quiche, I save and freeze leftover cubes of ham so I can make this recipe fresh once a month. Easy and delicious.

Too sweet. Too hot. Too many ingredients. Strange flavor. My family would not eat it.

Super Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2005
I made this soup using left-over turkey and it went over well with my family. I love recipes that let me sneak in vegetables that they normally turn their noses up to, like broccoli. The only thing I added was a healthy dose of ground red pepper. Thank you for sharing. On edit: The leftover soup was so thick that I used it for pot pie. I mixed 1 stick butter, 1 cup milk, and 1 c self-rising flour and poured it over the soup. Baked 350 for 1 hour. It was wonderful.

Chicken and Broccoli Braid

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2005
I covered the bottom of a jelly roll pan with one can of rolls. I prepared the filling as directed but held out the almonds. I cut the second can of rolls into strips and latticed the top, sprinkled with almonds, then brushed with egg white. The quantities worked out perfectly and the end result was beautiful and delicious.

Taco Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2005
This recipe is easy, tasty and there are many options for the creative cook. My suggestions are (1)Use 9x13 pan sprayed with cooking spray (2) add 1 can of refried beans either with the ground beef or as a side sprinkled with cheese (3) Add 1 cup salsa (4) cut sour cream to 8 oz and drop by spoonfuls over beef before the cheese (5) Omit corn chips entirely. Will serve again.
