this cake was okay. needed to be sweeter, so i ended up putting a liquid chocolate glaze. i never frost my cakes, but i had to put something on this one. it was however very moist and i really liked that. i was a little worried once i had finished mixing the cake because it had a thin liquid, almost like chocolate milk. it baked great in the bundt cake pan and it only took 1 hour. i would only make this cake again if i didn't have a boxed cake on hand.

Chewy Granola Bars

these were pretty good. i only made 1/2 the batch and did not use honey, as I am allergic to it. i used a honey substitute that i found online made of white sugar and water, but i also used a little more water to keep from getting dry and crumbly. i pressed the mixture onto the pan, then after baking, i pressed it once more and it came out really chewy and it kept its shape.

All American Apple Pie

one star but only for the picture. this pie looked good at first, but it ended up coming out ugly. it was not edible! the bottom crust was soggy and the topping was cooking faster than anything else. the filling was super sweet so need to cut back on the sugar. i followed the directions to a T and all i got was a mess. no one liked the pie. :(

Easy Apple Cinnamon Muffins

i had made an apple pie and had about an apple or two remaining that was already mixed in with cinnamon and sugar so i looked for something to do with the left over apple pie filling and found this recipe. the muffins were really good, just need to use common sense when filling them. i did not add the topping as we really do not care for any toppings, but the muffins still came out great and were delicious!

Chocolate Chip Muffins

this was really good and easy. i added more milk and oil as suggested as well as some vanilla. one thing that i didn't like about it was the sugar topping so we just brushed it off. other than that, it was delicious!

Anna's Chocolate Chip Cookies

these were delicious although i prefer my cookies to be thick but the flavor was all there. it's only my husband and i so i only made half the recipe and i also lowered the oven temp to 350 and they came out pretty. :)

Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'

hmmm, i followed the directions but mine came out a little sticky from the top so it stuck to the foil when i wrapped it even though i let it cool for about 3-4 hours or so. otherwise it was delicious. thanks!

Fresh Pear Pie

I'm not a cook or a baker, but I made this pie late last night out of boredom and it turned out really good. I didn't use the zest but only because I didn't have any lemons on hand but other than that, the recipe was followed as is. Pear pie was a first for us. I think I willl be making it again. I highly recommend!
