About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I just love to cook there are to many dishes to just choose one. I'm always trying new recipes and ideas. Right now I'm on a Gluten Free anything to cook for my daughters needs.
My favorite family cooking traditions
There isn't really any traditions in cooking with our families...just being together is enough. :)
My cooking triumphs
Everything is a master piece to me from PB&J sandwiches to gourmet cooking. As long as someone is enjoying it, I'm pleased! :)
My cooking tragedies
Thanksgiving dinner in 2001 new oven decided not to all the way.....mess everything up for awhile. So dinner was delayed and finish cooking at neighbors. Which was very entertaining and ende up being a wonderful dinner.

Famous Pork Chops
After reading the reviews I was thinking I had finally found a great recipe for chops. I did take note to all of the not so positive reviews also. I weighed my odds and decide to give this recipe a whirl. I followed the recipe exactly and didn't have a problem with the breading being soggy like some reviews mentioned and my chops where moist and tender, no complaints there. The only problem that hubby and I had was not much flavor. I have spiced the recipe up with different thing a few times. Once I used Ritz crackers as suggested. Then more garlic salt, garlic powder instead, fresh garlic, ect. I really wanted this to be the end all to my quest for the perfect recipe. However, I'm just not satisfied with this recipe. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Tony's Summer Pasta
This was wonderful! I have now made this recipe 3 times in two weeks. I did follow the recipe only using a 1/3 cup fresh basil that's all I had on hand the 1st time. It was delightful and refreshing. So I have keep it that way. 2nd time, my husband requested me to make it again with the addition of shrimp and olives. It turned in to the whole meal with the additions and some Garlic French bread. The unexpected guests of the evening and hubby loved it. I can't tell you if it was good with the Shrimp or not I'm allergic so I'll have to take there word for it. But, the olives were yummy. 3rd time I made it I keep the olives and added seasoned and slice chicken breast. It was absolutely delish. This is a keeper. Thank You! Everyone here enjoyed appreciated the new recipe.
