Apple Pie II

This recipe is GOLD! No doubt it would be great as is, I'm just very particular about my apple pie and made the following changes. I added 2 tbsp of gingerbread syrup and substituted vanilla with 1 tsp of maple syrup. It was the most delicious apple pie I think I have ever had and when I used this recipe reducing the salt by 1/2 and adding 2 tbsp sugar, it was also the easiest pie I have ever made. 15 minutes prep time for EVERYTHING!

Korean Spicy Chicken and Potato (Tak Toritang)

The first time I made this, it was amazing! I used chicken breasts instead and as I live in Korea, I have access to all of the Korean ingredients. I made it for a Korean who loved it and asked me to make it again. I did and used chicken drumettes, but both of us found it to be nowhere near as good as with the breasts. Maybe I altered the recipe or maybe the chicken drumettes were not great quality, but I will stick to the breasts~in fact, I'm going to make it tonight and will let you know how it turns out! ***I definitely prefer the chicken breasts. I also added some red pepper powder (gochu garu), sliced red pepper (gochu) and some large green onions (pa). Delicious!!

Easy Pie Crust

Great pie crust, worked perfectly for me. Any ideas how to turn it into a double crust? I am going to try to do on plastic wrap in the pie plate, pull it out and add it to the top, I will let you know how it works. Any other ideas in case this one doesn't work? **EDIT** I used plastic wrap in the pie pan first, made the dough and removed it. Then, I made it in the tin without the plastic wrap, baked it for only 5 minutes. I put apple pie filling inside, laid the top crust on the pie and baked it to make a perfect crust. I also used 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1/8 teaspoon of salt. It was the easiest pie I have ever made.
