Pico de Gallo Chicken Quesadillas

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2003
Very delicious recipe! The pico de gallo is excellent with or without the jalapeno; I eat it with chips and add it to my guacamole dip. My family loved the quesadillas. I shredded my chicken and used orange pepper instead of green which gave it a sweet taste. Yum Yum Yum!! I definetely recommend using a plate to flip it or else you'll wind up with a big fat mess. I also serve mine with guacamole (Best Never Forgotten Guacamole).

Easy Never Forgotten Guacamole

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2003
This is the best guacamole I've ever made and I probably won't use any other recipe again. I mash my avocados and use fresh garlic and onions instead of powder. I add 3 tablespoons of pico de gallo because I like tomato chunks in it and also a tablespoon of lime juice so it doesn't turn brown too quickly. Everybody asks me for this recipe. My one complaint is it only stays fresh for a day before turning nasty-looking.

American Chop Suey II

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2003
This recipe was not that great. I froze half of it to give to my sister next week when she has her baby but I bet she won't like it. Tomato soup makes it very weird

Baked Ravioli

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2003
Excellent recipe! I've made this a few times now, sometimes I use italian tomatoes, sometimes regular. I prefer the petite-cut type. My husband has requested I make this marinara sauce for all future pasta dishes, so I jarred up a big batch. He prefers the sauce with meat in it. My 7-year-old stepdaughter got to help make the sauce after asking me if chopping onions really makes people cry! A very easy recipe that makes the house smell heavenly. I use little or no water but my leftovers are a little dry; next time I'll go ahead and add all the water.

Sarah's Salsa

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2003
I confess I mainly wanted to try Sarah's Salsa because my name is Sarah but it ended up being great salsa. I've made it several times now and have yet to find a salsa recipe my husband and I enjoy more than this one.

Pink Panties

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2003
These were way too strong to taste good. I told myself the next batch would have less alcohol but I got too trashed to make a second batch that night! I plan to keep experimenting with this recipe until it satisfies my taste buds.

I thought these were dry and dull, my 5 year old wouldn't even try them, but my fiance had no problem wolfing them down. I doubt I'll make these again.

April's Chicken Fried Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2003
This is a great base recipe. I've made it a few times now and always add something different. I've tried water chestnuts, peas, salad shrimp, even bacon bits. I haven't come up with the perfect fried rice recipe yet but when I do, this recipe will be my base.

Cheddar Chicken

I'm a huge fan of cheese so I couldn't wait to try this. It turned out very dry and bland. Ended up giving most of it to the dog, who had no complaints at all!

Pretty good grean beans. Took this to a family gathering where there were 2 other green bean casseroles, this is the one that was gone first. Will make again.

Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2003
My fiance asked me to make him chicken noodle soup when he was sick so I came to AllRecipes and found this recipe, which turned out to be perfect. I ended up eating most of the pan instead of him because it was so delicious! Just the thing to warm you up on a cold night.

Cola Pot Roast II

A little drier than I would have liked but the gravy was scrumptious. I added a 5 lb. bag of potatoes and a pound of carrots. My fiance loved this recipe, so I'm sure I'll make it again.

Quick and Easy Green Chile Chicken Enchilada Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2002
I was too hungry to bake the chicken so I cooked it on the stovetop. Since I was too hungry to let it cool before shredding the chicken, I chopped it up with my food chopper. I skipped the charring step since I don't have a gas stove but I tore tortillas into fourths as suggested. WOW! This recipe was great!! My fiance and I both loved it and almost finished the whole pan in one sitting. I'll definetely make this again.

Not a recipe that thrilled anyone at my house but an interesting change from the norm. Very simple to make. Will maybe make again for a Mexican potluck sometime.
