Family Favorite Mac and Cheese II

This turned out delicious! I follow the recipe as is and it was not dry at all. I baked it for 15 min. When I scooped it, strings of cheese just dangled! The dijon mustard gives it a great flavor. Son ate 2 helpings.

Easy French Toast Casserole

Delicious! Be sure to spray the casserole dish with baking Pam. I did not use the extra sugar to go on top of the bread. I didn't use all the liquid. I think I had 1/2 cup leftover of the milk and egg mixture. I drizzled it and let the bread absorb it. Will definitely make this a staple in our house. Thank you!

Chocolate Cream Pie II

I followed this recipe to a "T" except for the cool whipped topping. I used the egg whites to make meringue. The instructions for boiling did not say how long to boil. Once it started thickening I poured it into the unbaked pie crust and baked at 350 degrees for 10min. until the meringue browned. After pulling it out of the oven I noticed that it was runny like pudding. The taste was great, a lil too sweet though. I made another one and followed Jay's review and used 1 more tblsp of cornstarch. I must had over cooked it for it was chewy. I may try this recipe again but will make a few adjustments.

Roast Chicken with Rosemary

This was good but dry. I will make this again. I will do as others and rub butter under the skin. I will also place the rosemary under the skin to get the flavor through the bird. I think you could sub the seasonings to your liking. If you are roasting be sure to add water or chicken broth to the bottom of the pan. I read where some added veggies on the bottom.

Cranberry Orange Loaf

For starters I didn't know whether to use my electric mixer, whisk or stir. I did end up using the electric mixer to blend all the ingredients. The batter was really thick. I thought to add more liquid to it, was afraid it would be dry. The batter filled a 7 15/16inch x 5 7/16 inches x 1 13/16inch pan. It baked up in 28 minutes. It was a little dry but with great flavor. I will make again but will have to add a little milk or water to the batter-2tsp. Also I would add a little extract to it next time.

Angie's To-Die-For Banana Bread

I made this bread as written. It is very moist. The texture was very good. It's a little too sweet but I will make again reducing the sugar at least 1/2 cup. It calls for white and light brown sugar. The next time I'll leave out the brown sugar. Also I thought it needed more bananas.

Mediterranean Fajitas

We loved this! The will be our go to for fajitas. I did marinate the beef over night and the flavor of the beef was perfect. Not too tangy. 150ml= 5 ounces, or little less than 2/3 cup. Thanks Don!

Herb-Crusted Chuck Roast

My roast came out tough, could be the cut of the meat, I don't know. I did like the flavor. Had to put into my crock pot to tenderize it. Had to pour some beef broth over it and cooked it for 2 more hours.

Garlic Spread for Garlic Bread

This is a good recipe. You really must put 2inches apart as they spread while baking. I only had to bake for 10 min. I really had to watch the second batch 'cuz the first batch was burnt.

Easy Pepperoni Bread

This was okay. It was very dry. I did the oil and seasonings but that wasn't enough. It puffed up in the middle and expanded where pepperoni was oozing out. My children didn't eat it all.
