Slow Cooker Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2010
This was extremely easy to make. Took no time at all to put together in crock pot. Turned out delicious and made the entire house smell yummy. Needless to say, my roommate was very jealous. I added garlic salt/powder to the mix and also after it was done cooking, I used my salad chopper and cut the meal into smaller pieces (easier to dish out). Very good!

Slow Cooker Veggie-Beef Soup with Okra

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2010
This was delicious! I used a 16oz bag of All Natural brand "vegetables for soup" and added one can of seasoned diced tomatoes and one can of Italian stewed tomatoes and did not drain them prior to pouring them into the crockpot. I also added a can of red kidney beans (drained) and two small cans of sliced mushrooms (drained) to the mix. I'm actually eating this at work as I write this. I ommited the ketchup, but added a lot of seasonings: garlic, Italian, Oregano, more garlic, parsley, salt and pepper. I can't wait to make more of this. Simply wonderful.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
This recipe was very easy and came out delicious! All my friends loved it. I made this recipe exactly how it says except I didn't use the Worcestershire sauce only because I didn't have any on hand. I cooked it on high for 4 hours and then let it sit on low for a few more hours and then just kept it on warm for a few more to let the flavors soak in and the sauce thicken (I only did this because I had the time to do it). I also used Jack Daniels Masterpiece bbq sauce as I read it was best to use the more expensive kind. Half-way during the cooking, I used a fork and shredded the chicken and it makes so much; perfect to have for leftovers. I highly recommend this recipe. It's SOOO good!!!

Home-Style Vegetable Beef Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2009
This soup is DELICIOUS! I was looking for an easy, healthy meal idea and came across this recipe. The soup is very easy to make and fills you up! The only thing I added was a can of red kidney beans simply because I love them. I also used the readers suggestions about using the spicy V8 juice. I highly recommend this soup! I made a batch of cornbread to eat with it. I will definitely be making this soup many more times. Thanks for the great recipe!
