After reading other reviews made the following adjustments: 1c. sugar, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 2 3/4 c. flour. Refrigerated dough for about half hour and used pampered chef small scoop; topped with half a chocolate mint candy and baked a minute more to melt candy (then swirled candy). YUM!! Was very happy with the outcome. Will make again.
