Nacho Tacos

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2011
These were good but had I followed the instructions to a T they would undoubtedly be bland as other reviewers stated. I added some cumin, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. I couldn't find any Nacho Fiesta Soup so I used Chedder Cheese Soup instead. It worked well. I only used half the can and omitted the other half as I thought it would be too much for just my husband and I. I wish I would have had Tabasco sauce because I think it would have made them top notch.

Garlic Asparagus with Lime

These were ok. I think I would have liked them more without the lime.

Holiday Cranberry Chutney

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
Prepare yourself because these are very potent. I've never used cranberry with anything before so I can't compare it to anything. It was good but in small doses.

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
SO delicious and full of flavor!!! I'm instantly addicted to these. I didn't have time to boil the potatoes and put them in the crock pot because I was heading to a party so I put all everything in the crock pot and let it cook for 4 hours on high. They came out perfectly! Yum!

Eggplant Parmesan

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2011
I forgot to buy the garlic clove so I sprinkled garlic powder in the front and back of each individual slice of eggplant instead. This was a great recipe and I'm making it again for sure!

Owen's Mozzarella and Tomato Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
I found the Mozzarella and Tomato Salad to be a bit bland in comparison to the ones I've had in the past. It was good, but not delicious.

Old Fashioned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2009
The potato salad was good however I discarded the celery and used 1 cup of chopped green pepper and 1 cup of chopped tomatoes. I'm not a big fan of celery so I preferred it that way. A few months later I made the recipe again and this time I chose to include the celery as well. I also kept using the extra ingredients I added. My boyfriend liked it much, much better. I still prefer it without the celery. Again, it was good :) I just felt it was missing a few things - at least for my taste buds.

Southwestern Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2009
I was very excited to make this pasta salad, and although it turned out tasting good it was too dry. I even added twice the amount of sauce and it was still too try. Before serving it I added about 1/3 cup of chicken stock and I added 1 cup of chopped red onions. My boyfriend ate it and he thought it was ok but he said it could be better. I agreed. I wondered what it would taste like heated so I stuck it in the microwave for 3 minutes and I was incredibly surprised at how much better it tasted! I sprinkled some mozzarella cheese on top and that was it! From now on, I'll eat the rest of the leftovers heated.

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2009
This was extremely delicious. I added 2 additional slices of ham on each chicken breast and one additional slice of swiss cheese on each as well. I also slathered egg batter on the entirety of both chicken breasts before adding the breadcrumbs. I chose not to add the additional slice of cheese on the top since I already added more inside both breasts.
