Ground Beef Curly Noodle

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2013
I love how easy this is. When I put it down in front of my 4 year old, all I heard was, Mom! I hate this!! After arguing for 10 minutes, crying and pouting, he finally tried one tiny bite. Then all of a sudden he says, "Oh, I like this." And he proceeded to finish the whole bowl. My husband added cheese to his, and said it was great.

Stuffed Jalapeno Firecrackers

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2013
I make this frequently. The big difference with mine is that I brown a pound of sausage, drain and mix with the cream cheese. It is amazing. Sometimes I will sprinkle cheese on after they are done. Not diet friendly, but it is really good. I have also wanted to make it and been really short on time, so I put the cream cheese and sausage mix in, layer on the peppers, (you can use any peppers, not just jalapenos. My brother in law likes them with goat horn peppers, my husband like pablano and a guy I work with changed it to bell peppers.) Then layer baco on top and bake at 350 for about 30 to 45 minutes, when bacon is done.

Easiest, Amazing Guacamole

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2013
This was pretty tasty. It is not a guacamole I would want with chips, I like peppers and onion and tomato in that, but this is a very nice guacamole for sandwiches! Put some on my turkey bacon sub and it was quite yummy!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2012
I tried this last night. I love that there is so much more oatmeal crisp than most recipes. Love that it is both under and on top of the apples. The only critique I have is that it is quite heavy on the cinnamon. I will cut it back at least half next, if I use it at all. Also, be sure to grease pan really well. I just rubbed the stick of butter over the pan before I started and it stuck pretty bad. But this is by far my new favorite crisp recipe. Cant wait to try it with peaches or berries!

Sausage Jalapeno Poppers

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2012
I have been making these for years! They are excellent. We call them Armadillo Eggs because we use a whole slice of bacon to wrap them, and when they cook down in the oven the look like egg shaped armadillo shells, lol. Also have found at my parties that the guys love to pile these on a burger! The nice thing is if you are making them for people who can't handle jalapenos, you can substitute any kind of peppers. I have used banana peppers, goat horns, anahiems, pablanos, anything. The pablanos are hotter than a bell pepper but not a great deal, they are much larger, we have made them as an entree!
