Breaded Hamburgers

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2010
I followed the recipes, minus the garlic powder... I also used seasoned bread crumbs... it was yummy! Husband also loved it, so much that he wanted it again the next day! 1st time I sat it on the onions and added beef broth to the pan, 2nd time just placed them on a rack in the pan with water added to the dish... to me it was a waste of onion the 1st time... still tasted yummy! I served them on top of mashed potatoes and poured gravy all over it! Mmmmmm!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2009
I made this for Thanksgiving... For all of you that are raving about this pie and it being the best you ever had... I want to know what you were eating before... Don't get me wrong it was OK, but just OK nothing special about it... I did like everyone else and mixed the syrup with the apples and then poured the extra over... I used 4 granny smiths and 4 gala apples... It was good... but just average... nothing special in my eyes!

This cheesecake was WONDERFUL!!! My husband and I go to Romano's Macaroni Grill just to get their cheesecake. Not anymore. This is just a creamy and smooth as theirs. I brought some to work and they said the same thing! ***** 5 Stars ( cooked it for 3 hours and 10 minutes @ 200 degrees. Opened the oven door and let it cool to room temp. then put it in the fridge overnight. ) YUMMMMMMMMMMMY

Southern Living Magazine's Chicken-Fried Steak

Very Good. I think maybe it could use alittle more seasoning, but other than that it came out crunchy and delicious. I used my deep fryer to fry them, so they only took a small amount of time to fix. Husband loved it.

***** Perfect blend of all the cheeses. Will make again and again. It sounds a little wierd with the sour cream, but it works!

Brown Family's Favorite Pumpkin Pie

I do not normally even like Pumkin Pie, however it is a traditional dessert so I made this one. It was WONDERFUL! I used pecans instead of walnuts and it was the first pie gone. Will make again.

Mom's Mustard Style Potato Salad

I leave out the celery and pimentos. Add extra pickle relish and mustard. It's the first thing gone at every occasion!
