I loved this! And so did all my guests! I made it with a 7-bone roast and rubbed some garlic powder, salt, and rosemary on all sides before putting the roast into the slow cooker. I also used 1/2 cup of red wine and 3/4 cup of beef broth instead of the water, and added 1 T of Worcestershire sauce. Next time, I would sear the roast before putting it in. But after 10 hours on low it fell completely off the bone! So delicious! I used a gravy separator on 2 cups of the liquid and added some flour to thicken then served that in a gravy boat for the mashed potatoes I made. Perfect gravy! I will be making this recipe over and over!
