Cube Steak Parmesan

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
Notice how most everyone who did not rate this 5 stars changed the recipe in some way. I did it exactly how it says and it turned outwonderful. I did notice the same thing another reviewer did and that was that the flour and cracker mixtures were a little skimpy. But I made it work and didn't waste any of it so that was good. Basically my family loved it, I will make it many more times, and it is a great recipe! Thanks so much for sharing!

Raisin-Studded Apple Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
I'm surprised this recipe got such great reviews. I must have done something terribly wrong because I thought it was awful. My husband said it wasn't bad but he's the only one that ate it. I just wish I hadn't taken all that time to do it when it ended up getting thrown out.

Creamy Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
The taste was great but the potatoes did not cook in 45 min. Not even close. I ended up having to cook it a lot longer and it got really dry. Next time I will use real potatoes and I will cook them first. I just know it will be great!

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
I will never make the stuff from a can again! I loved this green bean casserole. The cracker crust was wonderful. At first I was worried about the cheese; it just didn't seem like something that would work in green bean casserole, but I couldn't even tell it was there. It was so much better than the green bean casserole I have been making for years. Thanks so much for a wonderful recipe!

Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
I have never tried cranberry sauce and I meant to the Thanksgiving but I had so much food I didn't get around to it. But, my cranberry sauce loving husband said it was much better than the canned stuff and it got gobbled right up so I'm assuming it was wonderful, lol. Thanks for a great recipe.

Pecan Pie IV

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
I don't eat pecan pie (I'm picky) but I made this for my husband's pecan loving family for Thanksgiving. I got compliments galore. They all loved it and I impressed them so I'm happy. It baked perfectly; it was a nice golden brown and the consistency was perfect. I will be making this again!

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

I unfortunately have not been able to try this yet but I sent it off with my husband to work for their Thanskgiving "dinner". I heard that it was gone within the first 10 minutes! Everyone loved it! I can't wait to make it on Thursday for Thanksgiving.

Libby's® Pumpkin Roll with Cream Cheese Filling

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2009
Holy cow! I had no idea I liked pumpkin until I tasted this! I was a little disapointed in myself because I was in a hurry and rolled the cream cheese mixture into it before it was completely cooled. Almost all the "melted" cream cheese seeped out of it and I didn't get the pretty white swirls in the center. But heck it tasted amazing anyways! I'm glad I practiced before Thanksgiving; now I know to let it cool first! Awesome recipe!

It wasn't my favorite but we all enjoyed it; including my extremely picky 5 yr old. I didn't think it was anything TOO special but it did taste good.

Country Fried Steak and Milk Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
So, so good! Had no problem with taste. I added about 1/2 tsp. of garlic powder to flour. I used veg. oil and butter instead of lard. They were amazing. Had no leftovers which makes me sad :(

Peanut Butter Bars I

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2009
I didn't have a problem with the chocolate being "too hard" but I did have a problem with the crust. It seems like maybe there is too much butter. It is greasy and really unsturdy. I love the taste though. Very good. My husband thinks they are really sweet but I think they're just right. I will probably try out the recipe again but with less butter or a smaller size pan.

I am very pleased with this recipe. It turned out great. I added about a tbsp. of sugar which was the perfect amount I think. I will use this recipe again!

Unbelievable! I love this recipe! I will use it over and over. I too added vanilla, nutmeg, and cinnamon to the syrup mixture and cooked at 350 the whole time. I also cooked on the bottom rack. It turned out amazing! I am so happy I came across this recipe!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2009
I followed the directions and took a lot of advice from reviews. It tasted wonderful all except of one little thing that was my fault. Either my cream cheese was not completely room temp. or I was so worried about "over mixing" that I did not mix well enough. I had chunks of cream cheese throughout mine, lol. It did not crack at all though and did not brown at all either. I think for my first attempt at cheesecake I did an alright job and learned from my mistakes. Thanks for a great recipe! I will make another attempt at it and do it right...

This wasn't a horrible recipe but the texture of mine didn't turn out very well. It was very runny. It tasted pretty good but I wish I knew what I did wrong.

Hamburger Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2009
I really did not like this recipe. It got a little better after I coated it in salt and pepper but it still didn't have much flavor. Maybe I just didn't add extra stuff to it? I'm not sure, but I don't think I'll use it again.

Linda's Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2009
Obviously Stouffers has some bangin lasagna because I loved this recipe. I wanted a recipe that was easy to make and tasted good because it was my first time making lasagna; this recipe did just that. I thought it was fun and easy to make and I didn't have to go spend an arm and a leg for the ingredients like one recipe I saw. My whole family loved this recipe and I will use it over and over again!
