Provincial Tomatoes

Reviewed: May 1, 2013
Super broke and had lots of tomatos I didn't know what to do with. Such a good idea, I did add garlic salt, onion powder, chili flakes & oregano (I prefer more spice). Didn't have any bread crumbs, what a wonderful/easy, use what you have recipe!

Egg Drop Soup (Better than Restaurant Quality!)

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2013
I made this for breakfast (hungry & on AR) and it was wonderful! I like a bit more spice so I added a dash of garlic powder, some chopped celery (going bad & didn't want to throw away) & regular onion (no chives). Super yummy, I only added a dash of the white pepper & added a pinch of salt to my scrambled eggs. This is now my "go-to" Egg Drop soup, thank you Darren!

Fried Cabbage with Bacon, Onion, and Garlic

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2013
I've been eating cooked/steamed cabbage all my life & NEVER has it tasted this good!! All the spices & carmelizing the onions..over the top! I've since used ham or sausage (out of bacon)with this recipe & it's stiil wonderful. I do not cook the cabbage for as long as instructed as I don't care for super-wilted cabbage. A+++

Oven Fresh Seasoned Potato Wedges

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2010
Wow, these potato wedges will change the way you feel about jo-jos! So much more healthier fried french fries. I did soften (cook) them in the microwave for 6 minutes lightly seasoned with the oil, salt & pepper. Then sprinkled the seasonings over the potatoes, tossed them, cooked in oven, done in 15 minutes. No more deep fry french fries and my grandsons (kinda picky) gobble them up. Those boys even heat them up themselves for a snack the nest day! Great with burgers, hot dogs and just had them with ribs today! YUMMY!

Baking Powder Drop Biscuits

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2010
I don't care for biscuits but my hubby loves them. I did eat one and they have a good flavor, light, browned nicely and very easy to make. I made a major mistake the first time because I tried to memorize the recipie and they still came out fine. Have made this recipie several times
