About this Cook
Well, all about me, what can I say... I am one hell of a person! LOL. I am currently working as a responder for MSRC, and very happy with my job. And I get to be home. My two passions are my hubby and cooking, what can I say.. It is such a relaxing thing.
My favorite things to cook
Bread! Love bread, can't get enough of it... It is my down fall to dieting.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Japanese food! The only problem is my husband doesn't eat a lot of Japanese food.
My cooking triumphs
My first Thanksgiving! I was so happy when I actually made my first Thanksgiving in 2009. Everyone was surprised because I haven't really ever had time to cook, and now that I have been expanding, it has really made my family shocked. They thought I was never going to learn how to cook.
My cooking tragedies
Due to the amount of cooking that I have been doing, my husband has gained a good 30lbs... Not the he didn't need to put a little meat on his bones, but he can't stop eating my food!

Zucchini e Pomodori Gratinati (Zucchini and Tomato Gratin)
Excellent! Made this Christmas eve for 15 people and it was the hit of dinner! The only thing I need to work out is not having as much tomato juice at the bottom of the pan, but will definitely be making this again

Simple White Cake
Not overly sweet, I like that about this cake, but I wasn't too thrilled about the texture. It was a little on the dry side and puffed up only in the middle. And my worst critic is my husband, and when he says it's fine, he didn't really enjoy it too much.
