Honeybee Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2012
These are my absolute favorite cookies! If you like sugar cookies and honey, you will love these! They come out soft due to the honey. I always cook them for 15 minutes because they are never brown around the edges and were way too undercooked when I followed the 7-10 minute directions.

Banana Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2011
Amazing recipe! Followed recipe exactly except added chopped pecans and used 1 regular size bread pan. Cooked at 325 for 50 minutes and toothpick came out clean. This was super moist and amazing. Will definitely be making this again!

Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2011
Great recipe. I omitted the white sugar and just made sure to pack the 1 cup of light brown sugar and it was the perfect sweetness for my taste. I made it the first time exactly by the recipe but I felt the 1/4 C of white sugar made this pie too sweet. I also decoratively added whole pecans to the top of the pie for a better presentation. I baked at 325F for 50 minutes also.

Ice Pops

These were great but I recommend cutting the sugar in half and only use 1/2 cup.

Cilantro-Lime Dressing

Reviewed: May 12, 2011
Great cilantro dressing! Made it last night and brushed it on grilled chicken and everyone loved it. The ginger really makes the dressing don't omit it! My friend asked what was in it and when I said ginger he said "wow I don't even like ginger and its amazing. I did add a a little zest from the lime, a pinch of cumin and 1/4 cup of chopped onion and it really made the dressing. FYI this is on the sweeter side so use less honey for a less sweet dressing! Will definitely make again!

Potato Arugula Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2009
My grandfather from Italy would always make parsley potatoes while I was growing up which is exactly this same recipe but instead of arugula he used fresh parsley. I love arugula and when I found this recipe I was so excited to try to use arugula! It is absolutely delicious and I mix all ingredients while warm to help the dressing soak into the warm potatoes and let the arugula wilt a bit. I wouldnt consider it a potato salad but more of a potatoe side dish with a hearty meal. It has a nice tartness/ sourness to it from the vinegar, so if you are not a fan of vinegar this might not be for you, but I LOVE IT!
