Cranberry Upside-Down Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2011
Very Yummy! I did have a little trouble with it not coming out of the pan well. I see others recommended a springform pan. I agree, either that or use parchment next time. Personally, I will use more cranberries next time also. A definite keeper.

Grandmother's Famous Cranberry Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2010
Thank you, Grandma! I love cranberry and orange together, but usually the orange flavor gets lost. Not with this recipe. It will definitely go in my repeat file. My cranberries were frozen, so I processed them, which distributed the bits throughout the loaf. Some pieces were larger, which just makes some bites even better.

Chocolate Toffee Crunchies

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2010
Very easy and came out perfect. Did use parchment, but didn't score before chilling, which I will do next time. I agree that they'll go a long way, as they're quite sweet. May add a tad more chocolate next time, and I gently pressed the nuts into the chocolate before the chocolate set up. I've had trouble baking since moving to altitude, and am switching to recipes like this that don't rise. I'm happy to have found this one. I did see another version that used graham crackers instead of vanilla wafers; otherwise exactly the same.

Sarah's Applesauce

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2009
This is very similar to the recipe I've used for years, only I use apple juice rather than water. Also a tad of lemon juice, and usually apple pie spice. Infinitely better than store bought!
