Simple White Cake
Ok. First, I am an experienced baker. I hv been making everything fm cakes to candies for 30 plus yrs. Tht being said, this is not a great cake, nor is it a bad cake either. Yes, I did make a cpl changes, but they weren't huge. I did add a lil extra milk, but no more than a 1/4 cup. I did use cake flour, but I almost always use tht whn making cakes or cin rolls. And instead of 1 3/4 t of bkn pwdr, I used 2, but tht ws mostly bc I didn't want to take out a bunch of dif msrng spoons for just 1/4. as far as the vanilla gs, I usually just pour in wht I feel, instead of exactly. I made these as a test run since I'm looking a a recipe for my kids' bday. I'm so glad I did. I made cupcakes out of them. Left them in for 20 min. Tht ws plenty of time. They were cooked all the way thru, but they were totally flat. The taste wsnt bad, but it wsnt great, either. They were dense, and they were dry. I did cream the butter and sugar til light and fluffy. I did thoroughly mix after each addition of egg (btw - I did use the whole egg). And I do kno to mix-scrape-mix. Again, these weren't great, but they weren't bad either. I guess I'll keep looking. Oh well. It ws worth a shot. Thanks anyway. :)

Pizza Dough I
Omgosh! So I make another dough from another site usually. I decided I wanted a change & found this recipe. Now, I'm sure there are things I can do to make the dough a little more flavorful, but I have to say, this recipe was absolutely beautiful in the oven and rising up! I doubled the recipe right off the bat bc we have a large family. It was perfect! This is now my go to recipe. You really don't have to do any extra steps! That was the beauty of it. I definitely recommend this one to ANYONE who doesn't have the time to wait! Thanks for the recipe!

Beef and Bean Chimichangas
This recipe turned out well. My only complaint is, it takes longer than the stated 45 minute total to make, and it takes longer than 30 minutes to brown. Other than that, my fam n I liked it. Thanks Nicole! :)
