Portuguese Chicken I

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2010
This is a fantastic recipe. I have made this several times and am always pleased with it. I made a few changes the last time I made this. Instead of using white wine, I used red wine instead. I also sauteed baby bellas and fresh rosemary in olive oil then spooned them on top of the chicken just before placing them on the table. This added to the appearance of the dish and gave it a fantastic flavor which pleased my family. Thank you for this wonderful recipe.

Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2009
This has got to be the best Indian recipe I've made. This meal has been a favorite of mine since the first day I made it. I follow the recipe step by step and it turns out excellent each time. There was a time however I did add an extra chicken breast and didn't need to add more of the other ingredients. This recipe is fabulous and although it may look intimidating because of the many ingredients, it's really quite easy. If you enjoy being in the kitchen with the aroma of the numerous spices used, then this will be enjoyable for you. Thanks for such a great recipe.

Spicy Chicken Curry Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2009
This is a fantastic recipe. I made this for my family today for supper. A few hours after eating, my husband asked for more. The soup is gone. I usually have leftovers which sit in my refrigerator for a few days, but this soup only lasted for a few hours. I only made a few changes. I didn't have onions so I added an extra clove of garlic. I also added cilantro, just because it adds to the appearance and flavor and used vegetable broth because I didn't have chicken broth. I also used leftover cubed chicken from the other day. I will definitely make this soup again. This has to be my favorite soup I've ever made. Thank you for such a great recipe.

Maple-Glazed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2009
This was an interesting blend of flavors. The picture looks much better than how these pork chops looked when I made them. They were very good. I think next time I will either cut the amount of brown sugar or the maple syrup in half because of the sweetness. These were just a little too sweet for my family.

Vegetarian Korma

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2009
This is a great recipe. I've used it several times and only made a few adjustments. I steamed the cubed potatoes in a separate pot before adding to the other ingredients. This cut down on the prep time. I also had some fresh spinach in the refrigerator and threw it in the skillet while simmering. The spinach added to the lovely appearance of this dish. My family loves this. Thanks.
