Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2013
I remember my mother making this as a child. I had never made them myself until my husband & I were watching Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives, and they had them on the show. It brought back memories, so I decided to find a recipe. I used this recipe, but didn't have any tomoto soup, so I used Progresso Basil & Tomato soup...it worked GREAT!!! Even my husband loved it and went back for seconds!!!

Quick and Easy Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2012
These are delicious brownies. Very quick & easy and really cheaper than buying the "boxed" kind. Made them for my local fire fighters and they LOVED them!! Already asking for a second batch. Will definately keep this in my recipe box and pass out to my friends. Thanks for the GREAT recipe

Extreme Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2012
I was very pleased with this cake. Although I will admit that towards the end I didn't want to add the cup of boiling water. I was pleased with the consistency of the cake at this point. I went ahead and added the water and hand stirred it in. It created a "soupy" mixture and I was indeed really unsure. Went ahead and baked the cakes and let me just say...the end result is Fantastic! The cake is very moist and easy to make. Definately a recipe keeper for me!

Wonderful Recipe!! Followed it to a "T" and turned out perfectly. I did triple the recipe for a function with our police dept and everyone raved about how good it was. Wasnt' too dry or too runny...just right

Chess Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2003
Used this recipe. Pie was very sweet. Actually sweeter than what we thought would be. Also after cooking, top cracked and turned very dark. Would suggest covering top of pie with aluminum foil to keep from burning.

Beth's Chess Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2003
Is this recipe using condensed milk or evaporated milk. In the summary states condensed, but in recipe states evaporated. Used this recipe with the evaporated and seemed to be runny after cooking. Let it cook for another 20 minutes and filling was thicker, but was very sweet.

Chicken Pita Pockets

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2002
This is a wonderful recipe. Even my daughter, who is very picky about food, enjoyed this. For an added taste I added quacamole to it and left out the dill. This is one recipe that we will use again. It is very simple to do, espceially if you don't have much time to cook.

Foolproof Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2002
I made the mistake of trying this before reading reviews. I ended up with a lump of chocolate, but added 2 more cups of chips and 1 7 oz jar of marshmallow creme and it turned out wonderful. Hope that this helps someone else.
