Easy Chicken and Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2013
Best soup I have ever family agrees! I cooked my own bone-in chicken breasts with bouillion cubes, a celery stalk, whole peeled onion and a whole carrot...I discarded the cooked veggies and used the broth from that for my base. I followed the rest of the recipe as written and wouldn't change a thing, except maybe to chop the veggies in the recipe in a food processor to save time!

Blueberry Cream Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2013
I made this exactly as written except that I added 3 c blueberries. These are delicious!! They are firm like a muffin, but smooth because of the sour cream. There is so much batter that I had to fill the muffin cups all the way to the top to only make 24. They rose perfectly and look great. I also sprinkled some sugar on the tops of them when there was about 10 min left of baking time. These are, by far, the best blueberry muffins I have ever made. I will definitely make them again.

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2011
Can I give this 10 stars??? I doubled this recipe for Easter Dinner. I followed the recipe just as written, but I added 16 oz shredded cheddar cheese to the doubled recipe because I made ham and love cheesy potatoes with ham. It was delicious!! All 18 people I served loved it. My 2 year old great niece was dipping everything in them!! Most ate seconds. I had lots of leftovers, too. The best mashed potatoes ever!!! They were delicious before I added the cheddar cheese!!! These are definitely a new addition to my Easter menu.

Cheese and Bacon Potato Rounds

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2011
Best ever potatoes!! Better than potato skins. My whole family loved them. I'll be making these often. I dipped the potatoes in the melted butter instead of brushing it on, but followed the rest of the recipe exactly.

Mini Meatloaves

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2010
I made these exactly as the recipe states except I added about 1/4 c. chopped onions and put them into the muffin tins as suggested in an earlier review. The muffin tins make them so easy to serve. My family loved them. It's the best meatloaf I have ever made. The mustard/ketchup/brown sugar topping really sets it apart from the usual meatloaf.
