Salmon Loaf

Reviewed: May 29, 2015
Not bad, mine needed a bit more milk, but my current oven is pretty wonky, it looks way more appetizing than the pic for this recipe. I wonder if some sauteed onions would've helped the flavor profile a bit too. Mash up the salmon bc it always comes with so many bones that is just gross. Overall good recipe.

Slow Cooker Carnitas

eh, not sure about the spice quantities, you could probably double them up, as pork REALLY absorbs/diminishes flavors. otherwise, great, everyone loved it. add fresh homemade salsa, avocado, tortilla, hot sauce - awesome.

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2011
everyone RAVED about the cake. this has been my favorite for awhile- not too sweet, super rich. I nixed the milk and replaced with cream. mmm, cream. this is exactly how the ( best ) local mexican rest. does it - $3.50 a slice - and it is typically sold out. yum.

Pan de Sal - Filipino Bread Rolls

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2010
Great recipe. The original PDS from the Phillippines were a little more sweet and buttery, but this was a good recipe. No bread machine, so I had to use a TON more flour, to get it to 'go'. If you wanted a little more a of sweet roll, just toss in a little more sugar. I skipped the bread crumbs too.

Vanilla Crepes

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
yummy. either use a sifter or more water. otherwise crepe tends to be a little too thick.
