Cut-Out Cookies in a Flower Pot
I made these for a baby shower, using teeny-tiny terracotta pots and wooden dowels. Boy were they a hit! And they tasted sooooo good! Clever idea, great recipe. Thank you. (Note: I did omit the butter flavored extract, and the resulting flavor didn't lack a thing.)

Persimmon Cake
Used rice milk (successfully). Was absolutely delicious with some leftover, reduced mixture of coconut milk/maple syrup/lime juice from another recipe--I whipped this concoction into some sour cream and topped each serving of cake with it. I was thinking raisins would be good in it, but my husband loves how the recipe really highlights the persimmons (which wouldn't be the case if raisins were added).

Jo's Rosemary Bread
I used the "light" setting on my bread machine because I like soft bread, and I used Red Mill all-purpose flour instead of bread flour. In lieu of Italian seasonings (which are missing from my spice collection) I used a few shakes of Oregano and Basil. Turned out deliciously! Great recipe--Thanks!!
