Addictive Baked Beans

This is basically a meal. Just add a salad or other side dish. Delicious. I actually crave it fairly often.

Brown Rice and Chicken Casserole

This was very good and I will make it again with a few slight variations. The baking time was about 40 minutes longer than the recipe called for. I stirred the casserole about every half hour as the rice seemed to settle to the bottom and clump. I will probably cut back on the dill weed. It seemed to overwhelm other flavors. I will probably add celery also. This dish has all the food groups except fruit. I enjoyed it enough myself and shared it with others who were impressed.

Mom's Baked Beans II

These baked beans were my contribution to my dad's 90th birthday celebration this past Saturday. They really made a hit all around. Dad said they were the only thing he had seconds on. I am not a baked bean fan, but these were excellent. I just might make them for myself sometime, cutting the recipe, of course. I used a little over a cup of diced ham instead of the 1/2 C.

Cheesy Pizza Dip

I made this for the first time Sunday to bring to my 4-year-old grandson's birthday party. I left out the crushed red peppers because of the small children. Cut the recipe in half and it still made quite a bit. I didn't have green onion, so finely chopped some yellow onion. I used 2 1/2 small cloves of garlic. I didn't have pizza sauce in the house, so used Prego Onion and Garlic spahetti sauce and I don't think anyone would be able to tell the difference. There were a couple of vegetarians at the party, so this worked out well for them. I would most definitely make this again.
