Stuffed Zucchini with Chicken Sausage

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2012
This was exceptionally delicious and if I had made it as written would have been just as good. Our grocery was out of zucchini (really? who runs out of zucchini) anyway... I substitiuted acorn squash and was worried about the contrast, so I added 1/4 chopped apple. The only other change I made was to use already diced tomatoes and Bob Evans sausage with sage. WOW, was this good! Thanks for a great recipe!

Strawberry Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2012
Had no problems with baking. Iused a glass 9x5 dish and baked at 325 for 60 minutes. Inside was moist, outside done perfect. I used double the strawberries and liked it. My husband said he didn't care for it.

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2012
Made as 2 loaves...way way way undercooked at the suggested cooking time. Flavor was ok. The house did smell great while baking but the bread was somewhat disappointing.

Really, really good. It was a bit salty, I will use half the ranch next time but definitely a keeper!

World's Best Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2011
This is to die for. I peeled the potatos, sauteed the celery and onion and use heavy whipping cream instead of half and half. I also added about a cup of leftover mashed potato but it would be awesome either way. This is fantastic!!!

Rhubarb Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2011
What an unexpected surprise! Just one hint: cover outside edges of pie crust with foil before baking to prevent darkened / burst crust. This was very, very good. I followed the directions exactly with the addendum of pouring cream cheese mixture over the baked rhubarb while still hot.

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2011
Wow, were these good. Made them for a dinner party and they were a huge hit. Marinated the mushrooms separately and grilled the mushrooms and fresh pineapple separately from the meat. The chicken was yummy and juicy. Will make this again and again!

Pork Chops with Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2010
This is good. A bit bland. I will try frying the chops in onion and garlic first and maybe adding some salt to the potatoes.

Chili Chicken

My husband really loved this. I used the Thai chili sauce (Maggi's). I thought there was a little too much soy sauce and will probably cut it in half next time.
