About this Cook
I'm a new stay at home mom looking for tasty, healthy, inexpensive meals that don't take alot of time to make for my family. My mom never liked cooking so it wasn't until college that a friend of mine really helped me see how much fun cooking can be. Thanks to her I enjoy cooking and don't have a fear of trying something new.
My favorite things to cook
I like cooking Thai & Italian foods.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I have found memories of baking cookies with my Swedish grandfather. I hope to share that baking tradition with my daughter.

Thai Chicken Wings
I have to agree with another reader. I too checked and checked to be sure I followed the recipe & added ingredients as stated. The fish sauce was definitely overpowering & I ended up throwing away most of the sauce. It wasn't as spicy as I was hoping and way too sweet. Too bad because I really love Thai food. My suggestion - use Thai chilies rather than jalapenos and cut down on both the fish sauce & sugar.

Easy Lemon Chiffon Pie
This recipe is definitely easy and I like that you can make it with sugar-free Jell-o. However, the texture is exactly what you'd expect jello-o and cool whip to be. Also, the lemon flavor is not that strong. To make this recipe a little more appealing I added 1 tsp lemon zest, the juice of 1 lemon & 1 package of cream cheese. This gives it a smoother texture and the little extra lemon kick it lacked.
