Sour Cream Pound Cake
The cake over-flowed the pan, dropping excess batter in oven and the edges were burnt.

Easy Taco Casserole
This is awesome!!!!! I was going to try this using sour cream as so many others suggested, however.....I'm a mayonnaise-a-holic and I figured what's 1/2 c. mayo as long as I'm using all that cheese. I made it with the mayo and it was sooooo good. Added extras, as I would on a regular taco and it's definitely a keeper. I would rather make the recipe as listed first and then (if need be) make adjustments. This is right on just the way it is.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake
Made this cheesecake yesterday. I must have done several things incorrecly because it turned out to be a flub. First, I've never made graham cracker crust without sugar but I did as the recipe said. I never greased the springform pan for a cheescake before but I did as the recipe instructed. Followed instructions and put in oven @ 350 for 1 hour. The cheesecake had risen well past the top of the pan. DID NOT open oven at all. After 1 hr turned oven off and left it in for the 5 hours stated. Turned oven light on several times to "peek" and saw the cake had "deflated". At the end of 5 hours i took it out. The entire center had sunk in and top had a burned look to it. I just had to taste it as it really didn't look great. Had more of a custard texture than a cheesecake texture. I'm hoping that being refrigerated will help the texture, but nothing will help the appearance. Taste was so-so. With all the rave reviews I'm assuming I must have done several things wrong. This was not my first cheesecake but it was the first one I had problems with. Have a can of cherry pie filling that I hope will help with looks at least.
