Morning Glory Muffins I

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2011
These turned out great. I decreased the raisins and increased the topping just to suit my family's taste, but they would have been great if I'd followed the recipe exactly too. The recipe makes a large amount so I made 12 large muffins in a lined muffin tin as directed, then poured the rest of the batter in a mini muffin tin and skipped the nut topping for my 5 year old. They were perfect for her! I plan to send these in her lunch box once school starts. I stored then in a container in the fridge and we ate them for several days.

Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2009
I try several new recipes from this site each week. This is a keeper. I marinated the chicken overnight the first time I made it and it was fantastic. It may be a little salty for most people as written, but that is probably what my husband liked so much about it.

Broccoli Chicken Roli

This is a great family recipe. The filling is so fantastic on its own. When it is baked inside the bread, OMG. It is a winner.

Sweet Potato Pie I

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2010
I was so impressed with myself after making this recipe. I make a lot of pies, but I've never attempted a sweet potato pie. I was completely shocked at how well this turned out mainly because it was so QUICK and EASY. A must try! Don't forget the whipped topping! It makes it so much better.

Dill Vegetable Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2010
We thought this was a great all purpose dip recipe. It was as good as something made with a package or some sort of mix, but without the MSG and other chemicals. Will definitely make again.

Slow Cooker Posole with Pork and Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2009
I am mainly writing this review so that some beginner, such as myself, doesn't make the same mistake I did...the recipe calls for ONE Chipotle, not ONE CAN!!! OMG, my mouth is on fire. Will definitely try this again though.

Tomato Gorgonzola Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
On a long quest to find a tomato soup my daughter will eat, I tried this one. She hated it, but my husband and I really liked it. It is very rich though. We will definitely make it again.

Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2011
My husband is a serious meat eater, but I try to serve a meatless meal once per week. He thought these were ok. The good thing about these is that they are VERY filling. My husband typically goes back for seconds and even thirds, but one filled him up.

Pumpkin Pecan Pie I

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2010
I tried this pie out at Thanksgiving. We all loved it! I think I prefer it now to my old traditional pecan pie recipe. Super easy and you dont really have to worry about it setting as much.

Chocolate Chow Mein Clusters

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2010
Super quick and easy. Great for the holidays or cooking with kids. This recipe doesn't yield much at all so you might need to double it if you want more than 10 or so.

Black-Eyed Pea Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2010
Very good recipe. I followed it exactly. I made this for church today and was a little concerned that it might be too "interesting" for most folks, but everyone who tried it really liked it and a few asked for the recipe! Will definitely make again.

Chocolate Chess Pie II

I didn't want to take the time to find my Granny's chocolate chess pie recipe, so I pulled this one up and I thought it was equally delicious! Shhhhh! Don't tell granny.

Marrakesh Vegetable Curry

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2010
I have been looking for some meatless recipes that would satisfy my meat eating DH. He enjoyed this. I am not much of a raisin fan, but they add something to the dish. Don't leave them out! Will make again.

Chicken Piccata with Artichoke Hearts

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2009
This is an easy and very good recipe. I had to use white cooking wine, so I can't imagine how good it is going to be when I make it with the good stuff!

Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2010
In the past I always used cream of "chemical" soup to make beef stroganoof. After searching and searching for a more natural recipe I found this one. My husband and picky daughter both enjoyed this recipe. It's not super flavorful, and I had to add more sauce ingredients for our taste. But having said that, it was good enough that I'll definitely make it again.

Amazing Muffin Cups

These were really good. I was nervous about how the potato cup would turn out, but it was great. I didn't get to use the Johnsonville product but substituted another meat. These are good reheated in foil before school!!

Swiss Chard with Pinto Beans and Goat Cheese

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2013
This recipe was ok. Not fabulous, but a good way to use swiss chard. I love, love, love goat cheese so I will most likely double it next time to make it a little more savory.

Broccoli Bean Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2010
I rate this as average. It is no culinary treat, but my husband liked it and that is saying alot. It is quick and easy to put together especially if you use pre-shredded cheese. I may use something other than oregano next time. I will definitely make this again.
