Marbled New York-Style Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2011
I wasn't a fan only because it wasn't sweet enough for my taste. But, I made it for my husband for his birthday last year and he LOVED it! He asked for it again this year. He liked that it wasn't over the top sweet but still smooth and creamy.

Pretty good. The kids ate it up but it makes a lot so be prepared with a lot of people to feed or you'll have a ton leftover.

This is amazing tasting! Maybe not the most appealing to look at on your plate, but it definitely makes it up in the taste department.

Dee's Roast Pork for Tacos

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2010
This was delicious! I actually used pork tenderloin thinly sliced, marinated, then broiled because I didn't have a roast on hand. I'm sure either way it would have been delicious!

Louisiana Shrimp Casserole

This specific recipes is really bland, but it has potential to be so good. I think next time I make this I will used fresh mushrooms, onions, and garlic and sautee those together. I'll also add a small can of chile peppers, red pepper, and black pepper to the sauce.

1-Dish Chicken Parmesan

This was absolutely delicious! I of course added more cheese because you never have enough cheese, but my family devoured this dish, there were no leftovers and it was just as easy to put together as the recipe said it was!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2009
This is delicious bread, easy to make, no crazy ingredients, and it makes A LOT of batter! I made a loaf, a dozen muffins, and a cake (my own cream cheese frosting for the cake) ~~I also made a low fat version by substituting the oil with applesauce cup for cup. I substituted 1 cup of flour for 1 cup of oatmeal blended to a powder. I used egg replacer and cut the sugar in half without adding anything else. The result was a scrumptious and moist low fat bread that was 3 point on WW as opposed to 9 points a slice. :)
