Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

I never made a roast like this and I'm glad I tried this one. It was easy!! My roast wasn't weighed though and that proved important...It must have been bigger then 3lb...It took two doses of rub to cover it. I took another reviewers advice and put it in a plastic bag and left it to sit and marinate for a few hours. don't waste your time with a roasting pan and rack. I did and I followed another reviewer and put broth in it under the rack and it just evaporated away to burnt crisp under the roast. Roast turned out great, tasty and not dry at all. Took 2 hours longer then I thought, but hey weight is important! Can't wait to make philly cheese steaks with the leftovers!!

just like grandmas...in fact exactly grandma's from Italy...Perfect. I didn't have to call my mom for the recipe this time!
