Chicken Wing Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2012
I also make this recipe with just a few twists: I only use one block of cream cheese and blue cheese dressing instead of ranch (depends on what you like better with wings). Then, I add granulated garlic and LOTs of hot sauce to taste. As someone else posted, I just throw it all in a mini crockpot and let it cook itself. It's always a hit.

Black Bean and Corn Salad I

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2013
Like another poster, I added in tomatoes and avocados and I used a lot of cilantro. This is a great base recipe that you can mix up and change depending on the tastes of your guests.

Rachel's Cream Cheese Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2013
Like another poster, I used whipped cream cheese and crushed up strawberries to create the same flavor. So good!

Shrimp Lemon Pepper Linguini

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2013
Absolutely fantastic! We loved this recipe!!! Like a lot of other posters, I doubled the sauce to ensure we had enough for dipping crusty bread then I served this with a fresh salad, crusty bread and a nice Chardonnay. Great meal and thanks for the recipe!

Healthier Oven Roasted Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2013
Very good recipe! I had a few doubts about doing roasted potatoes because of the extra calories in the olive oil, but these are yummy. I find I can reduce the olive oil just a bit more than this calls for and still get the same results. As another poster put it, I don't peel mine and the skins get that crispy/chewy consistency that is so good.

Slow-Cooked Pork Barbecue

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2012
I love this recipe! So easy and I've struggled with pulled pork previosly. As we all do, I did make some modest changes for my taste - I used red pepper and cajun seasoning to season the roast (along with the seasoned salt and garlic) and I added vinegar, mustard, red pepper and garlic to the barbecue sauce instead of cola. Will likely try it with the cola sometime, but I was in the mood for extra spice today.

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2012
This is my favorite grilled chicken recipe! Everyone I make it for raves. I'm not real particular about the exact measurements and it doesn't seem to matter. The key appears to be the steak sauce, though. Thanks for sharing!

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2012
This was excellent. I did modify by adding some mustard and using a pork roast vs. the loin, but really, either way is just fine. We loved every bit of it!

Pollo Fajitas

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2013
Just made these Friday night with my fiancé. So easy to make and the flavor is outstanding. I know the ingredients seem a bit different for fajitas, but they blend so well and really have an authentic taste. For even more authentic taste, I recommend serving with fresh lime-squeezed margaritas!

Coleslaw I

Very simple and yummy! To reduce fat calories, I reduced the mayonaise and added more milk instead. Also, I used a blend of red and green cabbage with carrots to add a little more color.

Made this for my boyfriend's birthday - he says there can never be enough chocolate. So good that he froze the leftovers.

It was nice to try but a little bland. Not sure what would give it a kick. Possibly a little hot sauce at serving?

Bread and Celery Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2013
Very good recipe. I did modify it a bit by buying stuffing cubes (both cornbread and regular), but used the basic overall recipe mix. Since I've been struggling with stuffing for a few years - everything just turned out wrong with it - I'm very happy to now have a reliable, good stuffing recipe! Thanks.

Beef Tenderloin Steaks Topped with Horseradish and Dijon Mustard

The sauce was great, but if I were to do this again, I'd still cook the steaks on the grill then top.

Southern Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2014
This is an absolutely excellent recipe. I followed the advice of one poster and added some Cider Vinegar (just a cup to 3 cups of water), but I think it was too much. The next time I make this, I will cut back the vinegar to just a tablespoon and reduce the water to 3 cups. Otherwise, just great. I paired with bottled barbecue sauce on the side for those that wanted it.

Grandma's Chicken Chardon

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2014
Excellent. I agree with the other posters and used seasoned bread crumbs and a little more cheese than it called for (I actually sprinkled it over the top). Not as great left over and next time I will likely use smaller breasts or chunk them up a bit so it cooks faster. (It took me 1:15 minutes)
