Honey Mustard Dressing I

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2012
Delicious, fast, and appetizing. The dill is great with this. Used dijon mustard for extra flavor and used 1 TB of soy. Really like this - will be one of my regular dressings. Thanks for sharing!

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2012
AWESOME recipe! It's fast, healthy, and goes well with chips, tortillas with melted cheese, etc. Added a can of Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies to up the health/taste factor. Seasonings were just right. THANK YOU for this keeper!:)

Lentil Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2011
Delicious!! Based off reviews, I added 2 cups lentils, 1 tsp. Cumin, 2 tsp. Paprika, 1 1/2 tsp. Coriander and extra garlic (4 cloves minced). I also used a can of diced tomatoes to make up the 3 1/2 cups crushed tomatoes. This soup is SAVORY! It tastes just as good as the lentil soup I buy freshly made at Whole Foods. Thank you, Gabriella!

THANK YOU for such a perfect side dish recipe!!! I could not believe how EASY this was to make, and yet it looks lovely, has WONDERFUL flavor, and can go with just about any meal... Several people asked me about the recipe - no one would have guessed they were microwaved! The texture was PERFECT. Thanks for the keeper!

Rosemary Roasted Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
THANK YOU so much for this WONDERFUL recipe!!! I have cooked many turkeys over the years, and this was amazing. I didn't change a thing (except add a couple pats of butter before it went in) and the turkey was INCREDIBLY MOIST!!! The flavor was perfect, not to mention the way it looked; the bird turned a golden brown all over, flecked with chopped basil and rosemary. It looked like something right out of Gourmet magazine! I used a 19 lb. bird and the amount of seasonings was perfect. I was not used to all the raving reviews I got!!! This recipe will stay in my family for years - thank you.:)

Corn Bread Hamburger Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2008
Wow! What a tasty, fast meal to make!!! I didn't change a thing, and the flavor combinations were great. This is now a 'keeper' for me. And like others said - you can add veggies or beans to the recipe to taste. Thank you!

Chicken Lasagna I

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2008
Karen - Thank you for a GREAT recipe!!! All I did was double the sauce like others suggested, and I had a flavorful, lasagna with an excellent creamy sauce. What a keeper! Just make sure you season your chicken well before adding to recipe. I just bake mine with a little fresh ground pepper, poultry seasoning, garlic salt and cracked red pepper before baking. I will make this again and again! (No boil lasagna noodles work great with this and cut the work down!)

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2007
Awesome recipe!!! I cooked and diced my chicken first, made this with chicken broth instead of the wine, (didn't have any)doubled everything for the sauce, used fettucini instead, and it was TASTY! Thanks for the excellent recipe. It looks great, too.

Wow - no wonder all the reviews for this recipe were so positive!!! Made this last night. Following the suggestion of another reviewer, I added 1/4 cup of butter and 1 tablespoon of flour. This is truly the PERFECT pecan pie recipe! Cooked it for the exact time stated, and after it cooled it set perfectly. I will pass this wonderful recipe on to my daughter - Thank You!!!

Bachelor's Creamy Pumpkin Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2005
THANK YOU, Katherine! The only change I made to this recipe was using evaporated milk (like I do in a lot of my soups) instead of cream. Talk about comfort food!!! It looks and tastes like it took so much time to make, but it is so simple. We will enjoy this recipe for years to come - a real keeper!!! Thanks again.

Davy's Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2004
This is FANTASTIC!!! If your family is like mine, and likes highly seasoned, flavorful food, this will be a hit. The only changes I made (and it turned out perfect!) were using 1 1/2 lbs. beef, and TWO cans cream o' mushroom with the cream o' celery. Served over a 1 lb. of steaming, wide egg noodles, this blows away stroganoff! Thanks for the keeper, Dave.:)

This was good, but EXTREMELY rich! If rich is what you're looking for this is a good recipe. If you don't like super rich desserts, I would skip this one.

Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

Reviewed: May 4, 2003
THANK YOU Nell! I made this soup for the first time last night, and didn't change a thing. I was concerned it might be a little bland, but it's very flavorful, with the tomato juice/bf broth/onion soup base! This is a recipe I will be making regularly, simply because it is sooo healthful, AND tasty!

This recipe is perfect for a quick, flavorful, hearty meal! However, I would suggest using TWO cans of chicken instead of one. (It makes a difference!)
