I've been cooking since I've been 4. I started out as the helper and moved up the line. Fall/winter are my favorite times of year. The flavors of food, colors and textures are just wonderful. Don't even get me started on smells. I love trying new things. Before having kids I had more time to experiment. I still experiment just not as much. I enjoy logging on everyday to see if there is any recipe that sparks my fancy to try that day:) Baking cookies with my mom. Before having kids and moving 600 miles away from her we used to bake tons of cookies. I would take time off of work for this baking party. I would go to her house with 5 different kids of raw cookie dough and she would have 5 different kinds too. Then we would spend all day baking, laughing and listening to Christmas music. I really miss that. Gosh I will have to think about that one and get back to you. When I was younger I messed up Jello 1,2,3. I only got two layers out of it. Who knows where layer 3 went. Jello used to give me such a hard time. I must say I am better at it now:) There have been other too but the list would be a bit long:)
