Yum! My 4 year old gobbled it up. Steamed broccoli dipped in extra cream cheese sauce was good, too!

I thought this was too much trouble for the end result. I think I just didn't do it right.

Aunt Fannie's Dinner

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2005
I used this as a base recipe and thought the end result turned out great. I went mexican with it using garlic, onion and green pepper with the ground beef. I used roasted garlic tomato sauce and diced tomatoes with green chilies. I added cumin, chili powder and black olives along with the corn. I also cooked the ground beef with the cumin and chili powder. Added the macaroni, salt and pepper and served with cornbread muffins. Great hearty meal - I will make this again!

Egg and Hash Brown Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2005
This was great with my alterations taken from other reviewers. I sauteed the hashbrowns with the white of the green onion, fresh garlic, seasoned salt, salt, pepper and butter and put in the bottom of the pan. I used ham AND bacon and some dry mustard in with the egg, green onion and cheese mixture. Looked beautiful and tasted great - lots of flavor!! Made it this morning for Father's Day and my husband and children loved it!

Corn Chip Salad

Reviewed: May 24, 2005
I did not care for the sweetness of the thousand island dressing. And didn't taste like mexican. Like my old standard taco salad better with taco sauce in the meat and green goddess dressing and doritos instead of corn chips.

I tried to make a lower fat version of this casserole and I wouldn't recommend it. It was ok - I'm sure it's fantastic following the recipe exactly.

Very good. I will make this again but omit the brown sugar - I didn't care for the sweetness but everything else about it was perfect!

Ground Beef Enchiladas

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2004
My husband and 3 year old loved this. I'll be making it again. I used green chilies instead of Jalepeno and sour cream instead of yogurt, and used a cobly/monterey jack blend for the cheese. All of which I already had on hand. Worked great.
