Sri Lankan Chicken Curry

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2014
This was very flavorful and the combination of spices was spot on. Unfortunately I did not have the curry leaves or tamarind but I am sure that would have made it even better. I used half the salt as some reviews mentioned and found it not lacking. It was very spicy, even omitting all but one of the green chilies, I was the only one in my family who could eat it and my husband made everyone else sandwiches. I would watch the spice level if you are serving to a family or are not that hardcore.

Tiramisu Layer Cake

Awesome recipe. The frosting, the filling, everything is amazing. Made a white sheet cake from scratch but other than that followed the recipe exactly. Turned out fantastic. If you are looking for a tiramisu recipe this is it.

This is so simple it's hardly a recipe but nonetheless, it turned out great. Made an easy quick and healthy side dish.

Potato Salad With Peas Recipe : Food Network Kitchens : Recipes : Food Network

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2012
This is a good recipe. It was a cinch to throw together and I liked the flavors that the fresh dill added. To omit some of the calories I used a 1/2 cup each of non-fat greek yogurt, non-fat sour cream, and light mayonnaise instead of just the sour cream and mayonnaise.

Campfire Beans Recipe : Ree Drummond : Recipes : Food Network

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2012
These were good. It was a really simple and easy recipe to make. They turned out flavorful and made a nice side dish. This is a good basic bean recipe without a lot of spice or seasoning. I did, however, omit 1/2 of the chili powder in mine and changed the preparation somewhat by soaking the beans overnight and cooking in the slow cooker on high for about 7 hours.

Kathie's Zucchini Muffins Recipe | MyRecipes.com

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2012
These were good, but a little bit dry. They tasted well, very healthy. As other users suggested, I would add some additional cinnamon and maybe some nutmeg or cloves. Raisins or nuts may also be nice to give them a bit more flavor.

Really good. The peaches could have been a bit sweeter, I may add some sugar to the next batch. The ice cream itself though is absolutely delicious.

Fluffy Pancakes

Fantastic. I love that they were really fluffy and light. It was also nice that the recipe makes exactly enough for two people so we didn't have a lot of extra batter left over.

Roasted Banana Bars with Browned Butter–Pecan Frosting Recipe | MyRecipes.com

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2012
Between the caramelized bananas and the brown butter frosting with toasted pecans, this cake is out of this world good. Banana flavored cake is certainly not my typical preference, but this turned out outstanding. The next time you have overripe bananas I recommend trying this recipe.

Maple Oat Nut Scones - Starbucks Recipe - Food.com - 157241

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2012
Incredible! Just like the one you get at Starbucks which are my absolute favorite. This is supposedly the copy-cat recipe of theirs. The first time I made these I couldn't find maple flavoring anywhere so made lemon ones instead of maple by adding lemon extract and lemon peel to the frosting. This was also really delicious.

These were tasty! Flavors and texture were fantastic. The red pepper and hot sauce does add a kick but I wouldn't change it. I topped with my all time favorite pasta sauce: "World's Best Pasta Sauce" by JohnChandler http://allrecipes.com/recipe/worlds-best-pasta-sauce/detail.aspx. It was perfect!

Creamy Vanilla Ice Cream

Awesome flavor! I have been using the Ben and Jerry's recipe but this is actually better. It comes out deliciously rich and creamy. It did get icy after about a week but this is often the case with homemade ice cream.

Chicken Tortilla Soup I

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2012
Looking for a quick dinner at 8pm and this came together in a flash. Had to improvise with a 28oz can of tomato sauce instead of tomatoes but the flavors were fantastic. Took all of 20 minutes to make too. I threw the chopped up raw chicken in with the onions and garlic then finished cooking it in the broth.
